I wasn't sure what to expect finding a fully featured pair of waterproof and fogproof pair of binoculars for a well know company like Bushnell for the price it was. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. They shipped fast arriving on time in 2 days. I opened the box to everything ready to go requiring minimum effort to get going. I did get a neoprene neck strap for comfort knowing these are a little on the heavy side. I decided since I don't need binoculars at distances short of 50 hands to get the individual focus so I don't have to refocus but the one time I set it up. Being my first time with the individual focus, it was easy to focus each eye with the other closed at a pine about 50 yards till I could make out each needle.

PROS:No fogging. Be aware that you must focus each eye separately - this eliminates the middle focus ring that then moves each eye cup. That means more places for water to get in.Bright and clear with sharp focus.7x50 - 7x means 7 times magnification, and 50 means 50mm lens size. 7x is the MAX for hand held especially in a boat. You could even lower that to 5x for a boat where the action of the waves makes if difficult to keep the image still.Solid build quality.CONS:A bit heavy / large. But this is the price you pay for large lens that let in lots of light and are very clear.No middle / center focus ring - each eye must be focused one at a time.Your hands /

These are great! I adjusted the focus for both eyes for very distant objects (mostly what I'm looking at when boating). I took a silver sharpie and marked a dot on the diopter scales so I can re-focus quickly if someone's borrowed them or I was focused on something close up.Some complained the lens covers were loose. The top lens cover is a single cover for both lenses. You need to expand the binocular wide and the looseness goes away. The down-side is you have to re-adjust the width every time you get them out but it's a quick action.Bushnell sells two versions of their marine 7x35. This is the pair that doesn't have the compass or range finder. I'm more interested in what lure a fisherman is using,

Big, bulky, manly! Yes, I like all that! Not a dainty set of binoculars, that's for sure, but that's really, really okay! The light gathering capability of these binoculars is great. The image is crisp, bright and clear, even, and especially, at night. The individual left/right focus threw me off at first; I'm used to a focus wheel. But once I "sighted" them in, they worked great. I really liked the indention for the fingers on the top of the barrels. Nice touch. I had trouble getting the shipment on time, but the seller quickly resolved the problem, and I'm pleased. Good buy. I recommend.

Great binoculars. We will be heavily using them next month watching dolphins. However, we have already tried this binoculars watching birds and picture is clear, magnification is good, you don't need more zoom with same diameter of lenses. Exit pupil is big enough to get excellent and bright picture even in the evening. It is water and fog proof. Technical characteristics are very good for this price. I have spent 2 weeks choosing the right one to be excellent quality and not too expensive. I definitely recommend this one.

The binoculars are for a friend who is on a boat a lot in Florida and likes to spot alligators etc. from a distance. The main features of the binoculars is that they are waterproof and will float of dropped overboard. The only thing negative is that your ad did not mention if there was a carrying case or neck strap. I had to call Bushnell to find that out before I could place my order with you.

Very decent optics... sure, I'd have like to have had a pair of Steiners, but then if these go over the side, I won't have nearly the issue I would have had with some really high cost binoculars. These resolve pretty well, do a good job of light gathering (so far I've calmed "ufo! ufo!" fears of my comrades by being able to clearly see the running lights on a low-flying airplane in the evening.

I checked several products for sailing on inland lakes. This binocular seemed the right choiche for amateur sailers. View is very clear, adjustable for kids & adults also. Altough a bit heavier than expected. Covers are seperate from thr binoculars itself (not foldable). Comes with a bag to hold. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.

You can adjust each eye separately for precise magnification clarity. The rubber is nice and tough with a grip that you can hold, even in rain and when your hands are slippery. They do not fog up either. A strap made of nylon attaches to the binos and a bag with an additional strap comes with it. Great product.

Pretty heavy as one reviewer said, but I also read that might be good to help steady on a boat. These don't say autofocus but I was able to use them out of the box without adjusting the focus and can seem to see far and near without adjustment. So for me had been a great set for the price. Using while kayaking.

Bought Bushnell Marine 7x50 Binoculars for my husband as a gift. I wasn't for sure if he would like these but I had read up on most and decided to go with these. All I can say is that they are AWESOME!!!! He loves them! They are crystal clear and perfect for sailing. I would highly recommend them.

I bought these for my wife to use while birding. At first I thought I had chosen poorly. The were larger & heavier than expected. In fact, I requested information for returning them. But we decided to give them a try. They are incredibly good. We are definitely not returning them.

good grip, big eye relief, and exit pupil make scanning the seas or landscapes in a bumpy ride easy. the focusing takes getting used to, but i guess not having the single knob mechanism makes these more reliably water tight and sturdy in general.

For the price this is a decent pair of binoculars.If I lost them , I could replace them but there are better ones out there.I use the for spotting birds while fishing offshore, so they could fall in the water. They work for me

We are very pleased with these binoculars; my husband is a commercial lobsterman and these work perfect for locating trawls in choppy water; they stay focused at the point he sets; they don't fog up and are water resistant.
