I wanted a binocular with at least two to one zoom range, max zoom of about 20 X, and 50 mm minimum objective. This binocular fills the bill. It has good optical performance, focus is sharp, distortion is nearly imperceptible, and the 50 mm lens gathers sufficient light for sharp imaging. At 10 power the field width is 200 feet at 1000 yards. At 22 power it is 66 feet. See below for some discussion on this.The lenses are fully coated which reduces internal reflections that degrade the usefulness of many binoculars. Weight is 34 oz - OK for most but may be heavy for some people. The balance is good. The binocular is sealed with dry nitrogen gas so should not fog internally and should stay clean on the inside of the lenses.

These are okay, as with other reviews on this product, and as expected with a zoom binocular, the view gets darker and grainier when zooming. (Updated below**) This is a set focus which means that the user is not able to adjust one eyepiece to get both eyes into focus. When I zoom in, only one eye is clear, so I found I have to close one eye or the other and focus the binoculars), but this is not a factor when in the normal position. I also bought the tri-pod mount and there were no instructions on how to remove the cap where the threads are. I ended up using a knife to pry the cap off. Not knowing there were plastic threads in the small cap,

These have a great zoom and look pretty good for the money. When compared to more expensive optics you can tell they are not as good but you have to realize they are only a fraction of the price. Straps, covers and case included work pretty well.I used them hunting and they worked well. I got them all snowy and temperature cycled them from 50F to -10F everyday. I drug them through the bush with little regard for their well being. I would say I did not treat them that great but they survived. Lens did not scratch and moisture did not penetrate them. They are large and you can start to feel their weight after about four miles.These would be great for watching wildlife due to the zoom.Overall I

I bought these binoculars for day to day usage like bird and animal watching. I had modest expectations based on the price rather on the cheap side for this zoom. While they are heavier than I expected, they deliver a solid performance and the optics is ok. It could be better but it could have been worse too. I like the zoom lever and find it very convenient. You can use a lower zoom for finding your objective and then increase it to look for more detail. I took one star off due to quality of the finishing. Many unfinished plastic edges that give an unclean look. For something that retails at over $150 I would expect a better quality control. Overall a solid product for a good price!

GREAT binos! tripod mountable- Unscrew the front logo (page 8), great eye relief, great light gathering. ok weight.full multi coated lens, anti fog and waterproof. I hike for antler sheds and can pick out a deer antler from across a canyon, in snow, in trees, wherever. no fogging of the front lenses due to your own steam. (eye relief). could be the last bino's I buy, they're THAT good. these stay in the truck as they are a bit big, but man can they reach out there!! on rainy days Ill stay in the truck and glass whole mountainsides. its amaizing how much detail you get.

Lots of people told me not to buy zoom binoculars, so I went ahead and bought these because they was more to what I was after. I would recommend these to anyone they are clear and bright and well built. After showing them to someone who preferred non zoom even they where impressed with them, so go ahead and get a pair.

These Binoculars are great you can see not only clear but very far aprox 3 to 4 hundred yards . I use them to watch the deer cross over my 15 acre pasture to drink at my pond you can count the ticks on their ears. I would recomend them to any and everyone who wants to see a great distance away.Christinia in Missouri

I like it and as advertised. It looks a bit larger than it looks in the picture.BUT I'm afraid there is a statement mentioned in the package says: "WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm" !!!!!!!!??

Really good image through these binoculars! They're a little heavier than I was anticipating but are build really well. I went spotting eagles and their nests with a buddy and he really likes them too. Good quality investment in my opinion. PS, the zoom works really well also.

i have been buying bushnell products for thirty years,i used warranty service once, and they replaced item off warranty at no charge. these binoculars are great. not something you want to carry to far, but thats typical for this power size.

I took my new binoculars to a pro-football game. They were amazing. I honestly did not use the zoom feature very much as the strength of the lenses were more than acceptable. I would recommend these Bushnell binoculars to anyone.

Amazing binoculars for the price. Worked great in low light conditions. I use them for hunting. The 22x zoom is great, very sharp and clear image. I'm not a fan of the neck strap and will be buying the chest strap for them.

The binocular was delivered on time and has a superior product quality. The view is crystal clear and the zoom works great. the neckstrap could have had a better grip cushioning. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Very nice binoculars. Easy to set, easy to carry and not too heavy. I have enjoyed them so far and expect to use them a lot as spring finally get here!As usual, packed well and arrived when expected.
