does what it says it does so instead of having to take spoon out and lay in down somewhere it just hooks on the saucepan ready for use or if you need to put the lid back on it becomes a stand in itself - perfect litle device one you cannot imagine how you lived without once you have it

You wrap this around you spoon to stop it falling into the saucepan apparently.However, I have found it is far better used when combining "Hug Doug" with their "Lid Sid" products to create "naughty" worktop scenes to leave and shock the mother in law

Love this gift. Friend I brought it for loved it too, brought some of the other hug Doug items. Great for stocking fillers for those that like/love cooking I think.
