I bought these for the intention of running in the countryside - so fields, alongside canals etc rather than up mountains and hills.I had a number of attempts using them but just could not get on with the lack of support - I did kind of know this when I purchased them and therefore it was a bit of an expensive gamble.However, they are just so comfortable for day to day wear - dog walking, down the pub and just messing about in and around the house - rather than running. They are like, expensive over-engineered slippers and I actually don't like taking them off.So, as technical shoes go, not good for me but for everything else 5 stars.A word of warning - my friend calls them "fuggleys" - they

Usually wear an 11, ordered that size first, way too big. Ordered a 10, fits perfect. I use them for the gym, they are comfortable and very light. Only complaint is that the drawstring laces are very long, seems like they could easily get caught on something.

Brilliant minimalist running shoes. Really comfortable and great grip on rocky surfaces. Very happy with these shoes.Reviews on other sites recommended getting a full size smaller than my foot size so I did and the fit is perfect.

These may not be the most fashionable, as told by one of my students who said "were they a gift?", but I like them. The sole is hard, but after a while it gets better for my feet. These will last a long time, I think
