i started wearing a pair of merrell barefoot vapor glove last year in leisure time and have slowly been reducing the drop ,in my running shoes since. now, with the bare access flex, i've arrived at zero drop, and i love it. they're lightweight, fast, excellent grip and feedback from the ground, but with foam to remove the shock of impact. i went for a standard length, tempo pace 14.5 km run yesterday and loved it. the midsole rides perfectly under my feet and the fit was true to size. for faster runs, and on race-day, this may very well become my go-to shoe. i probably wouldn't recommend it for long, slow, recovery days.

If you're looking for a comfortable, wide toe box, this may be it. I enjoy everything about the shoe - the color, look and feel. I have a very low arch, almost flat, and I'm on my feet all day, so at first I was concerned because of the arch support being a bit more than I'm used to (not high, just more than my normal). But I gave them a chance and I now like them. I wear these working as a trainer and also when I workout myself. . I like the Crown color (blue) since the color of the rubber stripes on the shoe matches that of the fabric in the shoe.

Having a first pair of Merrell rather "Trail" (All Out crush), I bought this pair to replace my old "Route" shoes to make my transition minimalist. Received yesterday and tested in small jogging this morning. My first impressions: At first it "hits" a bit but I get used to it pretty quickly. After 1/4 hour I begin to appreciate the lightness of the shoe and the comfort of the toe box which lets my toes flourish. In short, it bodes well for the future. This pair corresponds very well to what I expected for a transition to the minimalist.

I've worn Brooks shoe brand for the last 12 years. I purchased this brand of shoe after my fitness trainer recommended a different brand for better support. Man, can I tell a difference. No more arch supporters needed. No more mid-day low back pain or achy knees. Your feet are made to walk bearfoot, and Merrell is now my go to brand for working out or just walking around the office. Lightweight and durable. Also perfect for those last minute trips to the river. Just let them dry and shake the dirt away. I love my Merrell shoes!

I recently started seeing a chiropractor - I have scoliosis and chronic pain. It's a lot worse after standing a long time, doing housework etc. The chiropractor told me to start wearing shoes in the house when I'm active which I never do because sneakers/running shoes etc are so uncomfortable with my bunion. These fit perfectly with extra room below the toes. Great support and I'm already noticing less discomfort after long times on my feet. I will be ordering another pair!

My very favorite shoe. I have worn Merrell barefoot shoes for 13 years and these are by far my favorite. They perfect my stride, correct my posture, they are the most natural and comfortable shoe to me. So much so that I buy 2 at a time to ensure I have them for 7-8 months. I have high arches, a narrow heal and an average to wide forefront. I don't ever want to take them off. I walk 4-8 miles 6 days a week at 4mph for reference. I'll be very sad if these ever get retired.

Most amazing shoes I’ve ever worn!! I’ve had foot problems for years and spent so much money trying to find something I can wear that’s comfortable. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they change the entire mechanics of your gait, decreasing back and hip pain as well. These were much less expensive than others out there. Definitely glad I took a chance. I will be buying a 2nd pair!

I love these shoes! They fit well and were walk-ready right out of the box. Simple-flexible-lightweight-wear-anywhere. I’m a Nun in a large monastery and with these shoes I can head out for a 45 minute walk right after Mass, do my a.m. work, go to meals, etc. and my feet feel great!

These shoes are supportive, breathable, and work great on my super-hilly run/walk route. They have great arch support and the toe box is wide enough to not cramp my arthritis. These are my first Merrells and I'm looking forward to wearing them out.

My 3rd pair of these shoes. They're the best Ive ever had, and I've tried too many to count. Lots of toe room. Comfortable. I walk miles in them without an issue, and they look great.

The third pair of trainers I bought always good as their wide fit is what I’m after. The only downside is they are expensive so you have to shop around.

Love these zero drop shoes with wide toe box. Wore them all day (not broken in yet) to Seaworld and not 1 blister! Never happened before my entire life!

Absolutely perfect. Love the minimalist shoes from Merrell. Protect my feet, can wear in cleanroom at work, and still feel barefoot! Sizing is spot on.

Quality looks good, but sizing is much smaller than expected. Order at least 1 size up. Ordered twice but had to return, got quick refunds.

Very comfortable, feel quite flat so not hugely supported and take some getting used to but now really like them
