this is my third purchase of this shoe and i will buy another straight away in case merrell discontinues this model. it is lightweight with great traction and just enough cushioning to take the jolts...looking after the joints. being zero drop ,the shoe emulates barefoot walking thus maintaining and reinforcing natural erect posture. last but not least the insole is deeply profiled to protect the arch. just perfect support.

I was looking for a barefoot shoe for mountain hiking. As a replacement for my old Bare Access shoes. However, this one has a thick sole for my taste. Much thicker than my old shoes. This means you feel less contact with the ground. I'm going to trade them in for the trail glove 5, which is much thinner.

Used to minimalist shoes, I was looking for sneakers with a little more cushioning for long hikes and Nordic walking. These are perfect for this use. Lightweight and comfortable. Small flat, the sole is extremely slippery on compact wet ground. Warning: for barefoot purists, go your way.

Dynamic shoe. Lightweight and of high quality. But beware because Attractive price compared to competitor sites but some faults on the shoe compared to the same model purchased from a competitor
