My 7 year old got this and loves it.The game is actually a collection of games based on the Winter Olympics in 2010. You can either pick different events as you like - bobsleigh, snowboarding, cross country skiing etc - or play as a role play game where you have to solve a mystery of erm, missing snowflakes I think, and enter different events on the way.Since the games are Winter Olympics many of the games are very fast racing type games - something I love. The 3D graphics for such a lowly machine are excellent.I haven't played that many games having got hooked on just one: Extreme Snowboarding Dream event. I think this is superb. There's a lot different skills and techniques to learn that you slowly build these up the more you play it.

This was one of my first choices of games for the Nintendo DS i bought recently, as i have always been a fan of Mario and Sonic.The fact that you have such a wide range of characeter choice to play as is fantastic and there are lots of events to choose from plus you unlock more as you go along.You also have an adventure mode where you can choose to play as Mario or Sonic, it reminds me of the adventure modes when the original Mario/Sonic games came out and in order to win you have a journey to go on and complete olympic events against an opponent.This game is very addictive and the different types of events you can play will keep you hooked as the controls vary (stylus and/or buttons)

The first Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games on the DS was and still is a fantastic game, I was doubtful that an improvement could be made on the original.I was so wrong, Mario and sonic at the winter Olympics is loads better, with new characters, the one that pleased my little boy most was the introduction of Donkey Kong who he loves.The great thing about owning a DS is the two player mode, watching my little boy and his cousin play this and laugh is such a joy.The game has a little bit more than the original Mario and Sonic with the introduction of winter Island.I can see this game filling lots of Christmas stockings and lots of very happy faces.I truly brilliant game that amazes me just

THIS HAS ALL THE FUNNY FUNKY CHARACTERS YOU'D EXPECT AND MORELOOKING AT THE VARIOUS GAME CLIPS ON THE CASE YOU'D PROBABLY THINKTHAT THIS IS 1 OF THOSE GAMES YOU CAN COMPLETE WITHIN HOURS !DON'T BE FOOLED THIS IS NOT AS EASY AS YOU THINK,BUT HAVING SAID THAT IT'SNOT TOO HARD AS TO TAKE THE FUN ELEMENT AWAY.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME FOR ALL THE FAMILYBUY IT AND ENJOY !!

I have to say I loved the original olympic games version of the best two characters in gaming history! I love the ice skating and playing with Donkey Kong - great character introduction and it ticks all the boxes for me. I'll be getting a copy for my niece and nephew for christmas and probably indulging in the Wii version as well for me. Highly recommended.

i think this game is brilliant. So much variety and games and suitable for all ages. My 4 year old daughter loves it, its by far her favourite ds game. And i love playin it to. And wot i really like about it is theres none of that constant clicking you usually have to do with most ds games jus to start the game. Definatly worth buyin!

This product was purchased for my daughter age 9, outcome she loves it. The disc was placed into her DS Christmas day and has not been out since (25 days to date, this is the longest one game disc has lasted). Games are fun, interesting, with various degrees of hardness.

A fun game to connect with family and friends.Lots of enjoyable games to try with lots of different characters to choose from.I would like to know that it at least had a case with it and was in good condition.Great game to play on, on a rainy day

Great game ob wii..essentially the same But...having to use stylus on some race formats spoils it a bit...should have option to use directional buttons...on those missions brilliant but having to swipe on some races takes the edge off

Bought this for my 5 years old to start him off on DS with something competitive and cute.He loves it and so do I. Great fun.Can be a bit frustrating when you are the last night but as they say 'Practice makes perfect.'

I think its a great game but im stuck where in frosttown in adventure mode is the thwomp you need peach to move for you and also that totem pole that you need amy's hammer to fix how do you do that all help needed thanks

My 7 year old was delighted with this game, it was a birthday present. He has hardly put this game down since he received it, he thinks it is great fun. My 10 year old also likes playing with this game

This was one of the first games my son had with his D.S. and it's still his favourite.Lots of scope for improving skills and ratings.Does include some non-skill games like roulette too.

Lots of fun. My children really love playing with this game. It has lots of things to do like party games, normal games, adventure mode and other exciting things. Fully recommend.

Great price and brilliant delivery time from Amazon for a Christmas gift to my granddaughter. Spent ages together just laughing at ourselves trying to keep up with the characters.
