I have been playing myself at Mario Kart on the first generation game on the Supernes Nintendo.I was looking for my 5yo kid a game for his DS that he would enjoy and that I could time to time enjoy myself to play.This game is good for the easyness of the controls. Anyone can play and win on the first race. You can learn drifting through the time and so on. There are 3 levels of difficulties. The characters are fun, you can win more of them as you succeed in racings and also win different karts. Everything is very colored and infectious.. I love the sound effects with the music that speed up in the last lap which create the perfect mix of humor and competition.

If you have a DS, you must own this game, it is as simple as that. The Mario Kart series has always been of a high quality and standard but many fans see this title as the highpoint of the series, myself included.The reasons for this are numourous. It strikes the perfect balance of old and new tracks, has difficult but not unfair AI, nails the karting physics down to a tee and is also one of the few DS games to really take advantage of the online side of things, completely lag-free.The only thing I would say is that there is now a new version for the 3DS (Mario Kart 7) but if you don't have a 3DS or are looking for a cheap alternative then you can't go wrong here. I bought this game because my brother in law had it and said it was good. I also wanted a racing game. I had Ridge Racer, but was getting fed up with it. This game is far superior. I love the graphics (I don't have the 3D version) and also the range of games (courses) available. There is so much packed into this game that I am never bored. It is highly addictive! There is nothing to dislike about the game. It is definitely superior to Ridge Racer, the only other racing game that I own. I think that it is a classic game. It can be expensive to buy, but by hunting around there are very good deals to find. Enjoy!!

hello everybodyi would like to review Mario Kart for NDS consolefirst of all,i bought it to have something to do in vacation and to have one good title with the other cartrigde i already got.i like the playstyle of the game and the many choices you got to do.also i like the "old" fashion graphics it has.i dislike that is only 4-5 hours of story line and then you repeat the same thing.well as all super mario titles it could be compared with every game nowadays and surely i would recommend it to everyone .IF you have a NDS console ,you must have this title!!!

Literally the bet game ever made on whatever platform - gameboy, game cube, ds, wii - We love them all.We currently have 5 copies of the DS version in our house so we can all connect our ds's and play against each other - ages 3yrs, 6yrs, 8yrs & 30+yrs all get a lot of fun out of it for hours at a time. Can not recommend it enough!!!!!!!!!! DESPITE WHAT YOU MAY HAVE HEARD MOST CARTRIDGES WILL PLAY ON THE DSI - IT JUST DEPENDS HOW OLD THE CARTRIDGE IS. Of the 5 copies we own, only 1 will not play on the DSI - which is fine, we only use that one in our DS lites.

what a game. A great present for any one who has a child liked mind. A true reflection on what games should be like and how they used to be back in the 'good old days'!!! Bought for my brother this christmas and truely reccomend to anyone who is considering purchasing this to do so. A great game in amongst a great series. Mario kart DS deserves the 5* given by so many people.

I bought this product to replace a similar one that had been lost, I like the fact it has a multi player feature, so you can play either by yourself or with friends, there's nothing really to dislike it makes you smile every time you play, and at the end of the day there's only one MarioKart, It's probably one of the best games you can buy for your DS or Wii.

i bought this game after losing my other copy of it. this is a brill game for any nintendo ds fan love it and so does my friends kids. this game is a great way to past the time travelling or just around the house. i love the way that up to eight people can play against each other this is by far as good as new super mario bros for ds

I brought this game for my sons 7th birthday. As i didnt know how long he would play it for i was unsure about paying full price for it in the shops. i found quite a few on ebay and eventually won this bid. My son loves it and plays it all the time. A complete bargain and i was totally happy with the purchase from start to finish.

I bought this for my 3 children.It appeals to both boys and girls.They all love car racing! added bonus is that its Mario.There are many other characters,such as Peach,Yoshi and Luigi.I was surprized how quickly my children picked up what to do.My youngest is 4 years old.All in all,an actioned packed ds game suitable for all ages.

I bought the Mariokart ds games for my my two little grandsons as they are two and four years old.I have purchased three mario games now ut find that mariokart is excellent as it helps them to control their hands.I i also like this game as it has helped my grandsons when it comes to steering their bikes.

Mario Kart DS has to be one of the top 10 games to purchase for the Nintendo DS. With levels from the 90s to brand new race tracks this game is definitely the one to keep your hands occupied. One Nintendo DS with Mario Kart can be used as Multiplayer for 7 other Nintendo DS' making it exceptionally fun!

This is one of the best games especially for toddlers! It's easy to play with lots of different characters and levels. What I like most apart from it's ease of use is it's simplicity. It's a racing game with items to collect and use against other players. This Is suitable for boys and girls of any age.

I bought this Mariokart ds game because i wanted to get on the Mario run so to speak. I liked it because it sharpened your reactions and keeps your hands mobile. There's not much to dislike about the game, what you see is what you get - fun for all ages, and i would buy it again if needs be.

my son wanted this game and since receiving it, he has had hours of fun playing this game. A fun game and exactly what you would expect from a Mario Kart game on the DS. If you have played any version of mariokart on the wii or any other nintendo console then you will know what to expect.
