I only received these boots a day before I went hiking so had no time to wear them in. However, they performed well going up the mountain. I expected more grip, as on the way down in very wet conditions, I had to be very careful. Great boots though. Kept warm and dry through two days of hiking in wet and cold conditions. Size 12 bought. I'm a 10 usually. Perfect fit.

Had to go a size bigger as with walking socks they are too snug, but I used Amazon Wardrobe to try before I bought which made things a lot easier.The boot is very similar to another Mammut boot I’d seen in Go Outdoors for nearly £200 so these are a much better price. Only time will tell if they live up to the quality I’m expecting.

The shoes meet my expectations. I was looking for a light mountain boot. For me there is no real alternative to leather-lined shoes. The shoe is of high quality, the price-performance ratio is great.

Thank God no Goretex. Very comfortable and non-slip sole. Turns out big. You should buy bigger hiking boots, but I wouldn't be too generous here.
