The Leifheit Clean and Away Dry Dusting Mop is a product I am so pleased I purchased. I never wanted it for the conventional use of cleaning the floors but needed to be able to wipe the walls which often get quite damp and doing this by hand with a wipe is quite timely to achieve without missing a spot. The mop is easy to use by simply attaching a cleaning wipe by pressing it into the top of the mop and stays pretty well most of the time. Sometimes it has fallen off whilst in use but that is most likely because I usually end up attaching two wipes, one on each side rather than buying a pack of wipes meant for a cleaning mop.The foam base of the mop means the mop glides easily over surfaces and the long handle is useful for reaching harder to reach places (tops of walls, behind furniture.) I have found that this works very effectively whether cleaning walls, floors or ceilings (although that is a bit trickier because of the angle) and is still in pretty much new condition after years of use. The foam is visibly a bit dirty but that's expected for something which cleans for you!The added bonus I've found with this mop is that it is excellent at killing those spiders and insects that always wait in places that are out of reach! This is a really great mop which has been very handy and works just as I'd hoped. I had struggled to find a similar mop in shops across my local area so I think it's great that Amazon have it available and I will be recommending it to others. A fantastic product!

At least as a concept ages ago :) - I've wanted a way of quickly and hygienically wiping down the floor in the same way I wipe down all the other work surfaces without resorting to the full bucket and mop experience for ages.It seems such a logical device to have around - but none of the shops I've visited had anything that came near to providing what I wanted and making one myself wasn't going to be easy.A little searching and luck finally revealed that (of course) someone had beaten me to it and when it arrived it was immediately clear that they'd done a very good job of it too. It may be simple but it's well made, robust and lightweight - If I had the resources this was just what I'd have wanted to produce. It says it's a dry duster but a couple of sheets of standard kitchen towel fix snugly into place and when moistened with a spray or two of a standard anti-bacterial cleaner keeps the floor acceptably clean and grease free. I'm not a cleaning fanatic but because it's no longer a big chore the job it gets done much more regularly than before. The three second rule covering food dropped on the floor will now be extended considerably thanks to this gadget.Combined with a three year guarantee - what's not to like.

Really happy with this one. Already have mop and bucket but really felt it was very cumbersome. I never liked the fact that having the bucket often leads one to over wets the floor and drying becomes necessary so I saw this one as a way to avoid that. I also liked the idea of the ball-socket type articulation between the handle and the mop so decided to give it a go.After using it a couple of months I could not be happier. The mop works really well around all corners and turns. The cleaning cloth is very good quality and I have re-used several times. It does tend to stick the dirt very quickly. Because it is very easy to remove clean and reposition again the cloth if avoid the bucket altogetherand get it damp enough to clean but I do not have my wooden floors soaked anymore. It is not really suited for very big jobs (very dirty big areas) as I imagine as one would have to clean the cloth very often. If I see a heavily soiled area (near the entrance from the garden) I prefer to use another cloth to remove manually the excess and then use this mop (personal preference I guess).I still have my old mop & bucket for precaution but I have not used it since I got this one.

I had a mop like this a couple of years ago and I must have mislaid it or its in storage , but anyway back to this mop its brilliant its worth every penny it picks up my dogs hair our hair and dust and dirt very pleased with it the wipes you can get at any Super Market and it will fit the mop when you think the wipes are between 1.50 for fifteen wipes I think its worth it . I have a Vilda mop which I have to change the mop head every week at three pounds fifty a time that's an expensive cleaning tool . saying that this little mop gets in to corners under furniture under beds and the good thing is we have tiled apartment so this is an excellent buy . and one wipe would do one room depending on the size .any home that has laminate or tile or lino should not be without this product This product is well worth the money . Unfortunately I had to buy a new mop as I accidently broke my mop (long Story) but such a good Little mop I ordered another one the same day as I broke it arrived the next day and I am still very very happy with it , as it takes up the dog hair and any little bits in less than no time and the wipes are so cheap to buy from any grocers

This floor wiper is great, just what I was after. I've new laminate flooring and was advised by the installer that in order to avoid damage/ faults and keep it looking its best, it mustn't be saturated by wet-mopping. I was pleased to find on delivery this wiper unit was supplied with 5 static dry wipes, for picking up dust and dirt, before attaching the wet floor wipes that I bought seperately. The wipes fold up over the top of the wiper and you secure them by pushing them into the rubber ports on the top of each corner. This wiper has a telescopic handle, so you could use it to clean top to bottom tiling in a bathroom shower enclosure for example. The angled joint makes the wiper quite agile, especially for reaching under furniture. I have no complaints about this wiper, but I have found it necessary to use two wet floor wipes at a time, using one it seems to dry out too quickly, maybe because the cushioning pad on the base is a little porous? All in all it's a good product, is great value for money too, so I'm happy to recommend it.

This arrived promptly (within two days), which was a great start. The first thing I noticed is that is seemed really small. The handle was 30 inches long. Then I realised it was telescopic, and with a twist extends to 50 inches (normal size). Then you twist it to get it to stay there. The head is 10 inches by 4 inches (a good size). It comes with a pack of 5 clean away magneto-static cloths. To affix these you push them through the four plastic holes on each of the four corners of the mop. I have tried this and they do stay put while you are cleaning. The only thing I am not keen on is the colour. The mop handle and fixer to the head are dark green. This is good as my kitchen is Buckingham green, and it matches well. Unfortunately the head of the mop is a lighter plastic looking green, which I don't like. However, I bought this mop for its usability and moping the floor, not its looks, so a worthy five stars.

The most excellent mop I have ever had the pleasure to use. It feels nicely sturdy, even at the full length it adjusts to (I am 5' 7" and like my tools to have extra long handles) there is no give or weakness in the pole and I can push hard to remove stuck on marks.I have only used this once with the provided dusting cloths and have instead used old dish cloths soaked in water. The push-in grip mechanism to attach these is excellent and changing cloths several times during my mop is not at all arduous.I have a light coloured floor and mop every day instead of brushing or vacuuming - and this mop actually makes my questionable decorating decisions a pleasure; I would much rather use this than any vacuum on a hard wood floor. For this price (I paid £13)I also don't have to feel too precious about it - excellent value for a superb tool.

The best cleaning tool I've ever purchased. The cloths attach and detach easily, but stay in place while you're cleaning. The handle telescopes efficiently, so you can collapse it for easy storage. The head rotates exactly as it should, reaching under low furniture and getting into corners and the cloths really do attract dust and pet hair. I live in a large house with two cats, a dog a husband who doesn't wipe his feet and my own long tresses: dust, hair and fluff accumulates daily and this little gadget takes care of it all, with little effort on my part. It won't pick up bigger items, but for dust and hair, it does a better job than any vacuum cleaner I've ever owned and doesn't send dust swirling up into the air,the way a broom does. And all for a very inexpensive price: perfect!

I have to smile when I use this mop at how the ingenious connector between the mop head and the handle allows the mop head to twist this way and that with a simple turn of the handle. It is light in weight, the handle is telescopic and I am very pleased with it. I ordered two boxes of Leifheit pads with it but while the mop arrived very promptly the pads had still not arrived after a month so I cancelled them and bought double the quantity of Leifheit Clean and Away Mop Refill Cloths for the same price and at a much lower delivery charge from John Lewis. They were delivered two days later. The mop makes it very easy to clear the dust from my extensive laminate floor and from beneath the furniture too,and I have no reservations in recommending it.

I've been looking for a floor mop which I can use with my Mr Muscle Floor Wipes (orange pack) and came across the reviews for this. Product arrived quickly. Used it the same day and got all my wooden and tiled floors cleaned quickly. Also used it on some flat wall surfaces. The wipes fit perfectly on this mop. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this mop. Not yet used the dry wipes that came with it so can't comment on that. I will do as some other reviewers suggested, which is to use this mop daily and then a deep clean with my steam mop weekly. Great suggestion thanks.Going to knock half a star off this product because the handle could be about 30-50cm longer.Otherwise very happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a simple, under 30cm flat mop to use damp on a small kitchen floor but couldn't find just what I wanted. By adding a sticky-backed Velcro strip (hooked) to each end of the base plate I can press on a heavy duty micro duo head (designed for the Picobello mop) and have just what I wanted without the somewhat clunky wringing-out mechanism on that mop. One dampened head does the whole floor with a second dried and ready for next time. The dusting sheets that came with the mop are not of interest to me, but I will also use generic micro-cloths as the push-in grippers can take variable sizes. A well-made and sturdy product which is easy to manoeuvre and does a great job.

This works well. We had an old 'Flash' one with a wobbly handle, so when the rubber slits perished we looked for a new one in vain. The kind with the attached liquid needs batteries and is heavy and therefore less maneuverable. Leifheit to the rescue. This has a sturdier handle and, strangely, a flatter surface than the previous mop, so it picks up more dirt. It's a good buy if you have laminate or vinyl flooring that you want to keep clean in a fuss-free way. The only reason I withhold a star is because the largest wet wipes we can find (as other reviewers have said, you need these for it to be really effective), are only just big enough to fit around the mop head.

This type of mop is popular in North America.. The pro and the con are follows; Pro: It is easy to clean various places such as floor, ceiling, wall. The part where it becomes dirty, in this case, the cloth is disposable. This is the most useful point. The ease which the cloth is secured. Con; the part where the rectangular head attached to the bar can be broken, if used with too strong pressure. The joint where it attached to the bar needs to be more carefully designed to give sturdiness to the mop. Otherwise, this is easy and hygienic way to clean the kitchen, bathroom floor, and overall floors, as unlike other mops, the cloth is disposable.

Since I had to leave my Swiffer back in the US, I have been searching for a suitable replacement that works with the wet and dry cloths that my movers packed with my items. It took me awhile to find this, but this really fits the bill quite nicely. I do wish that the little grips that hold the cloth would either be a bit stickier or stiffer to hold the cloths in better. I do like this particular dry mop in regards to the fact that the handle twists to collapse and makes it so much easier to store. The short handle also allows my toddler to dust mop when she wants to clean the house for us. I would definitely buy this product again.

Just started to use this mop. I've been needing a new mop for a while but haven't got the room for a mop & bucket & the last time i had a squeezy sponge mop it fell apart so this was just what i was looking for but haven't seen any in the shops. Much more hygienic than the old fashioned mop & bucket. Only thing is the supermarket brand of floor wipes i use only just fit but as i only have a small kitchen i seem to be coping, just have to get used to fitting the wipes on properly. Have yet to try it in the bathroom, which is also small so don't yet know what it will be like around the toilet
