Arrived in smart packing and was easy to unpack, assemble and charge despite instructions all being in picture format. I was very excited as had wanted one of these for years. Living in a town house with three sets of French windows, two cats and a young child I have a regular battle to keep my windows clean and find cleaning the glass within my property time consuming and tiring. I found when I sprayed the cleaning fluid it often leaked down my hand, which was particularly frustrating and if I was cleaning a window with this I often got a wet hand, especially if not using the spray dispenser in a totally upright position. Using the Vac to suck up the liquid was quick and easy, however,I failed to get smear free windows. I sometimes found the blade was squeaking on the glass whilst sucking up the water and found that this was what caused it to streak more. I found that if the glass was wetter, the streaks were less and so was the squeaking from the blade. I tried using a bowl of water with washing liquid in and just dipped the microfibre cleaning head in and scrubbed the window with it, whilst the head was very wet. I found this reduced the streaking but obviously was messier with the water dripping on the floor and cleaning fluid leaked from the spray bottle. Vac was great at mopping up the spills on the floor. With the streaks, I found it I rubbed the streaks with a piece of kitchen towel they soon disappeared, so in the end I cleaned the windows with the cleaner and head, and then used the vac to dry and gave a quick wipe over the smears with a kitchen towel and the result was streak free windows, with a lot less elbow grease and a much quicker timescale. I also used the kitchen towel to dry the edges of windows where the Vac didn't suck up the water.I used on shower doors which were stained with water marks and limescale and the cleaning fluid that came with the machine did not remove the marks. However once I used my normal cleaner and then scrubbed the glass thoroughly, I was able to maintain the clean shower door using the Karcher Vac. Mirrors came up well, again with the same leaking from the spray bottle experienced when using the microfibre head at an angle, but the mirrors were cleaned within seconds as opposed to minutes. All in all I felt it was a great product for a busy lifestyle, making cleaning windows and flat surfaces a more enjoyable task but not completely streak free, but considerably quicker and easier to clean. I've been impressed with the Karcher brand since replacing m old pressure washer with one of their models earlier this year so I was looking forward to trying out the Window Vac. I have to say I have not been disappointed. Even before I started using the vac the combined spray bottle and squeegee had me impressed, it's a really effective way of cleaning even the most neglected of windows and such a simple idea - how did I never have one of these before?! The squeegee can be removed and cleaned in the washing machine which worked a treat - so simple! So onto the Window vac itself - just does the job really with no fuss, you can quickly dry and clean even a shower cubicle in just a few strokes. It works best if you do long continuous strokes form top to bottom as that seems to minimise any appearance of streaks. I do have to confess I struggled with streaks a little bit and had to have more than one attempt at spraying / cleaning / vacing some of my windows but I'm putting that down to them being really dirty when I started and I'm sure regular use of this device will pay dividends in making it easier in future. As well as cleaning all of the windows in the house, I've used it for a shower cubicle and on mirrors, all with great results. As an added bonus it's brilliant for quickly removing condensation from windows and I expect that to come in really handy as the colder weather sets in. The window does need to be fairly wet or you get quite a squeaking noise as you go down it, can be a bit of a problem where the window is just a bit wider than the squeegee so for your 2nd stroke you're only going over a small area that isn't already dry.Karcher say the battery in this model lasts 40% longer than previous models, i can't really comment on that as I've not owned one before, but battery life is good, i could probably do most but not all of my windows on one charge, but wouldn't normally be attempting to do them all at once anyway. Recharging is just a matter of plugging the supplied charger into the device and is fairly quick - about 2 hours. The quantity of cleaning fluid supplied didn't look that great but was actually more than enough for the whole house and I haven't needed to buy more yet.The only thing I haven't mentioned is that the vac comes with 2 different sized heads, the smaller one makes life easier with smaller windows where the standard one would be bigger than the window - I even used it on a shaving mirror with great results. I own several Karcher products as I find them to be the best at cleaning. I already own a window vac and I was excited to see what the difference is for the 10 year anniversary edition. First of all I love the new colours. Black with yellow instead of the normal yellow with black. I think the black makes the vac look more expensive. In the special 10 year anniversary edition box you receive the brand new colour vac, a small and a large cleaning head, a microfibre mop head which is now attachable with velcro (which is a lot less fiddly to attach than the original vac) and a spray bottle with a sample of solution, enough for one bottle. The charging time is excellent and it took maybe about one hour to be fully charged. On a full charge you get about 30 minutes of use which is more than 30% longer run time than the previous versions. It is very simple and easy to put together and use. Simply make up the cleaning solution and attach the bottle to the holder, then insert the spray head to the bottle and away you go. Spray the window with the solution and then use the vac to clean and dry.The vac is not noisy at all and just a breeze to use. I absolutely loved it. I have cleaned windows, mirrors and the bathroom tiles with ease. I am disabled and struggle with housework and window cleaning is so hard normally. Now with the Karcher vac I can clean without getting worn out as the vac cleans so quickly and effortlessly. The head glides across the window with ease and it is very easy to manoeuvre. It is also quite lightweight and as I have a problem lifting this has made my life so much better. It saves so much time than cleaning normally without a vac. There were no streaks on my windows when I finished and I am absolutely impressed with the results.I did not have any problems with the cleaning solution bottle leaking, perhaps others have not tightened it up enough. I have also not had any streaks or issues of reaching the corners.TIP: Use circular motions when applying the cleaning solution to the windows and straight up and down when using the vac.TIP: Avoid using in direct sunlight as this dries the cleaning solution too fast, this is what causes streaks.I have attached some photo's of the windows gleaming to show you how good the vac is and also what you get in the special anniversary box.Go on and buy one, you will not be disappointed. #karcherwindowvac #10yearsofmakingwindowssparkle #TheInsidersUK [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Karcher Window Vac Anniversary Edition arrived in a stylish box, I was amazed they've managed to fit all the parts in such a compact space. I knew the Karcher brand and its reputation but still I got super impressed with the Window Vac. I had never used one, but I can now say "It does exactly what it says in the tin!"I've used it 3 times now to clean the windows, shower screen and the bathroom mirrors. I can clean it all in no time, it took me about 20 minutes to clean the 3 external windows. They are quite large and with an upper and lower area. The big head is not very suited for the upper part of the window because it is only 22cm high by 1.8m wide. With the big head I need to do small vertical strokes and go up and down the ladder 3 times to be able to clean it all. With the small head I can clean it much faster and more efficiently as with two long horizontal strokes I can clean more than half the window at a time and so I only need to go up the ladder twice. This also helps with the water not drying on the glass and having to reapply to have a good result. With either head one passing over a specific area is enough to remove all the water and have a good result. The battery charges reasonably quickly and one charge allows me to clean all the glass surfaces, it takes me about 35 minutes to do it all. Compared with well over 1h it used to take me, it is a huge time saving. I used to clean with the soapy water, cloth, vinegar and newspaper like I used to do. There is no going back for me. I quite like the fact that the LED indicators inform me that it is charging or has finished.Swapping between heads is really easy, the spray bottle and pad are a bit fiddlier. On my upper part of the windows, as it is narrow it is a bit awkward and I had a few "accidents" on the first two times, with spilling the liquid onto the floor. With either of the heads the Karcher Window Vac Anniversary Edition is light and easy to manoeuvre. I clean everything in one go and by the time I'm finished my arm feels pretty much as it did when I started, not tired. The window vac reservoir is large enough to allow me to clean all my glass surfaces. And although I empty it after every use, I'm pretty sure It would allow me to do it twice. The reservoir is very easy to detach and empty without having to be in contact with the dirty water.A work colleague is borrowing the vac this weekend I'm sure she will be pleased, I know I am amazed! I received the Karcher Window Vac WV Anniversary Edition to test and provide my experience of using the Vac. The Karcher Vac arrived well packaged, with all the attachments. The instructions were very simple to follow and I assembled it without any issues. Just to be on the safe side I charged the Karcher before my first use. The package contained window vac unit, charger, spray bottle kit with 20ml cleaning concentrate, 170mm and 250mm suction head. I had never used a window vac before so was very excited to use it and see the results. The Karcher Vac is very light and has a great grip, very comfortable to hold while cleaning the windows. I filled the spray bottle kit with the cleaning concentrate, topped it with water put the attachment together with the cloth cleaner on the head and I was ready to go. I started with one window and was amazed to see the results - Streak free clean windows in seconds. Wow!!! This was something I was looking forward too. The Vac is very quiet. I started with one and ended up cleaning all the windows in my house. It was as simple as spraying, wiping and vacuuming. I went ahead to clean the mirrors and it was once again streak free and clean. Infact the 170mm vac head is perfect for smaller windows and I really enjoyed cleaning as it was just effortless. Looking at me my 7 year old daughter asked if she could try and she found it so simple that she has taken up the task of cleaning all the mirrors in the house with the Karcher Vac once a week. With just one charge I could clean 14 windows inner and outer side, 6 full length mirrors, shower cubicle glass and I think there is still charge in it. This means I do not need a window cleaner anymore and can do the entire window cleaning in minutes. I am now looking forward to clean the windscreen of my cars. The vac is great to clean the condensation formed on the windows and also my shower cubicle. All the dirty water is collected in the collection reservoir and I can simply empty the reservoir by lifting the rubber plug throwing off the water and then giving it a nice rinse. I could also remove the yellow rubber on the head to give it a good rinse under water so that it was clean for the next time I use the vac. Overall I am very impressed by the results of the Karcher Window Vac and I can recommend this to without a doubt. Simple effortless cleaning in seconds. Quiet and inexpensive. My wife and I had eyed up a Karcher Window Vac for a couple of years, having seen a family member ridding her house of window condensation with ease using one.Having got the Karcher Window Vac Anniversary Edition I was initially a little overwhelmed with how many pieces came in the really rather small box, however, after ten or so minutes I’d pretty much learned what there is to learn.I got straight to work on my centre pivoting Livingroom windows – I live on the third floor, and having these pivoting windows means I can swing them around 180 degrees and clean the outside from inside – and that is exactly what I did.Applying the cleaning fluid and giving the outside a quick wipe I then used the Karcher Window Vac to finish off the job – the outsides of the windows were as clean as I had ever seen them, only this time I’d exerted little-to-no energy. Flipping the windows over I repeated my action, and within 5 minutes all 7 large windows were spotless, inside and out.I have since left the Window Vac in my bathroom where I have a wall to wall mirror of about 8 feet in length. After a shower, a 10 second once over with the Karcher whilst the bathroom door is open and all of the condensation is gone, meaning my morning routine is probably 10 minutes quicker – I used to wait for the mirror to de-mist on its own.I love how easy the Window Vac is to use. I’ve only charged it once in the last month and use it every day. It’s easy to change the head from large to small, for trickier to clean areas, and I like how easy it is to empty. All in all a wonderful item for anyone who is even remotely house-proud! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's taken a little while to write this, partly due to time constraints and partly as I've been waiting for something to go wrong for comment. My long endured (and abysmal so it seems) window cleaner has alas been ejected from his contract. Having now cleaned pretty much every cleanable surface in my house on 2 occasions with the Vac and getting to grips with the right technique, I can confidently claim to being a dab hand at window cleaning; the results speaking for themselves. What has impressed me more than anything however, it the vac's ability to do far more than just windows. The most striking impact so far has been the ten minutes I spent cleaning the tiles in my supposedly clean bathroom.Neither I nor my family could have imagined the difference. This kind of work would have taken hours in the past. The vac itself is very lightweight, powerful and a doddle to empty and clean. The two different nozzle sizes are very useful too. As per other comments, the instructions are a bit scant, but nevertheless the device is simple to work out and very intuitive.I'll post more after I've used it a little longer, but first impressions matter and my first impression is one of surprise and delight. I've called my Vac Steven.. it seemed only fitting as a lasting memorial to my outgoing window cleaner of the same name. The fact that new Steven is more effective, less offensive and will ultimately cost less within less than 6 months makes this Karcher vac a great device. That it has silenced my scepticism is an achievement in itself. More to follow. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product is well packaged. Comes with great instructions which are easy to use. Feels a well-made product light but sturdy . Is it easy to assemble and once charged you soon on the way to clean the windows . I had to clean my windows fundable weeks wanting to get the full experience of this product did leave a few smear marks on the first couple pains but that was down to me useless product for the first time .I started off slow and quite methodical cleaning but soon got into quarter quick and I sent it through each window I love the way there’s no need to try the windowsills at was it just sucks on moisture up it’s best to use on time that are not too sunny because I find found that you have to be really quick so the smears don’t come.I have large patio doors as well as conservatory as well as the number of windows around the house I soon found I could sit round there in no time at all it was so much easier than my old system Using squeegee and newspaper to dry windows this is a great product for timesaving .Below are Pictures of before and after of my skylight which were really dirty and make sure work and I use the small attachment on the unit.Think if there was a small attachment to the bottle this would be handy as found this clumsy on my window light and small windows around my conservatory over all it’s a great product slightly overpriced I think as it just cleans windows but would recommend it because it is a great product and to save time.. I started using the Karcher Window Vac Anniversary Edition a few weeks ago and have found it to be extremely versatile. From windows to shower screens to tiles this outstanding piece of kit can make surfaces shine with little effort. No need for heavy scrubbing or harsh chemicals, this is the greener window cleaning option.I have used this to clean all the windows in my house. It has made cleaning the glass shower screen doors a simple task. Removing the excess water from the glass screens when cleaning reduces the marks and leaves is practically streak free. My bathroom has floor to ceiling tiles on all walls and has always proven to be an undesirable chore. The Karcher Window Vac makes the task of cleaning the bathroom wall tiles very simple and easy. The window vac is great for cleaning the car windows. The only thing I found difficult is trying to use the vac to access the hard to reach parts of the interior windscreen where it meets the dashboard. The vac comes with a long lasting battery that enabled all the windows in the house to be cleaned on one charge. The recharging time is quite fast so the vac is always ready to Whilst the actual window vac comes with one sachet of glass cleaning concentrate this is only enough to fill the spray bottle once. I have since purchased a 500ml bottle which was easy to order and has allowed for continuous cleaning and vac use. I have also ordered additional microfibre cloths so I always have a fresh one available. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a really nifty little gadget but can take a little getting used to in the first few tries. It's all about the technique with this one. Firstly don't oversaturate the window/glass with too much cleaning solution. A little goes a long way and that will pay dividends when it comes to using the vac itself to get perfect results every time.A few simple squirts of the solution followed by a jolly good rub down with the attached microfibre cloth is all it needs, then it onto the vac.For smaller windows we used the small fin and for bigger we used the big one! Simple. Now, onto the technique. The best way we found was to start in the top left hand corner and, in a continuous movement, vac from that side to the right, then down with a little overlay on the part you just vac'd and straight back to the left. Continue this until you reach the bottom of the glass. You'l know if you used a little too much solution if theres a small puddle when you reach the bottom!A single charge was more than enough to get 7 big windows and a set of patio doors nice and clean. This is so much easier than cleaning, sqeegying then buffing to get rid of streaks. The difference IS clear!I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to anyone that wants streak free glass, mirrors and tiles in at least half the time of conventionally cleaning them. We are fortunate to have recently moved into our own place. Our place has lots of windows, lots! Done the math and we've got 32 m2 of windows. So initially looking at the specs and 30 minute battery time, I was sceptical. I didn't think the battery would last long enough to clean all the windows. Then testing it out, it took me 12 minutes from start to finish. I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly I moved along. But that isn't even the most interesting thing I have come to notice. With the windows so spotlessly clean and streak free, I've only had to do our windows once since I got the unit. So to be able to test out more extensively, I started cleaning our shower walls which are tiled to the ceiling. It works amazingly well on tiles. No hard water marks or dried drops on the glass shower panel or the walls. We have very hard water and are constantly scrubbing limescale and deposits off anything water touches. We get a new kettle every 3 months. But with the window vac, we dry the shower walls after every use and have yet to need any hard chemicals to clean our shower walls. They are spotless and shiny like new. And honestly, while we have yet to need a second window clean, it's the perfect use for the window vac which has made life so much easier. I have been wanting to buy this for a long time. I read lots of comments and reviews and they are all positive and compliments. I had a high hope on this product especially i have a large display window in my shop. I received this in a good package. The gadget is lighter than I expected. Its very easy to use even my grandpa could use it with no issue. I use it for a variety purposes such as tiles, car windows, conservatory, house windows, shower cubicle, french sliding door. Its very useful especially in cold weather for condensation, it saves you a lot of time and paper towel to wipe up. The result for display windows, house windows or french door isnt prefect,as you can see the hairline streak clearly under sun reflection. This has put me down as i had to use the glass cloth to finish off and I still need to hire a window guy to do a window job for a prefect finish. The rubber strip is a bit soft, it tends to curl against the edges which is a room for improvement. Overall, its a good gadget but its a bit overpriced on the market at the moment. Not really sure where to get any more of this detergent, hope its not expensive. I would recommend this to my friends and family, but i think they will probably wait for promotion. Wow this has made my life so much easier. I tend to put off cleaning the windows and my huge mirrored wardrobes but now I can do it much quicker with little effort . It really is so satisfying to see how clean and streak free the windows are in such a short time. Although very simple to use my only issue was the spray bottle leaked on my hand while I was wiping side to side so I'll use the spray gun and cloth head separately from now on.My daughter leaves a mass of condensation on the bathroom tiles after a shower so I handed her the vac and she whizzed around the tiles with it, yay! no more wet floor from the dripping walls.I have a friend who is a clean freak like me and she was so impressed when I demonstrated on one of my internal glass doors.I imagine she will be straight out to buy one! Likewise my mum (OAP) was also impressed when I let her borrow it and although there were a few wet marks left behind when she used it she said a quick wipe with a tissue and there were no streaks! One charge was enough to do all my downstairs windows, internal glass doors and mirrors. I've attached 'before' and 'after' photos as the shining sun shows up those 'before' streaks that I could never get rid of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this a few weeks ago direct from Kaercher website and it was on sale. I was hesitant at the price but don’t regret it. We have moved from a house with 4 windows to one with 14 large windows and 3 shower screens so have a lot of glass to clean now! The spray bottle was easy to put together and does not leak even when I tilt it sideways. It did not make mess and cleaned well. The Kaercher vacuum part was easy to put together and swap between the two different blades. I cleaned all the windows in one go and they were all clean and streak free and I’m pretty fussy. I also cleaned the shower screens. It was effortless compared to having to do it all by hand and was super quick.I am really chuffed by the product so far and I’m tempted to get some outside pads for the spray bottle and am extending pole so I can do the outside windows and the upstairs windows. Overall I’m extremely happy and it’s worth every penny. My only criticism (and I’m hoping Kaercher is developing this into a product) is for a pivoting head on the machine so you can go vertically right down to the bottom of the window. It’s easy just to go sideways now along the bottom of the window, but that would make it faultless! Love it! Everyone should own one!
