I wanted to buy a mop that I could actually wring out, not too hard you'd think, ha! judging by the amount of mops I have in storage, this is obviously not the case for me. I am disabled, so not the strongest of people, and I do have difficulty working most systems, but this one was so easy to use, no twisting or turning, just place the mop head in the wringer and press down and the wringer turns as you press and wrings the water out. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to press hard enough, but even I can do it. The mop itself cleans the floor very well, and is easy to use. The first time I used it a put a little white vinegar in with hot water and detergent just to give it a bit of extra cleaning (because I wasn't happy with the sponge mop cleaning I'd previously done)

I have stuck to metal buckets and cotton based mops for quite some time. Was surprised how effective this plastic mop and bucket set is. You don't have to press the mop hard into the spiral wringer to get the mop quite dry. I have a new kitchen floor and it has made floor cleaning quicker and easier.However, I am only 5ft 4 and the mop handle is actually a bit short, even for me. At this price, you'd hope for an adjustable handle.UPDATE: I have been using this mop and bucket for well over a year. Contrary to my expectations the wringer hasn't broken and the mop still cleans better and more easily than with others I have used. When you stand the mop in the wringer and tread on the pedal,

I have bought Vileda mops for years and usually use the telescopic version for easy storage - however, the telescopic feature tends to rust over use and mine have always ended up unable to close down. So decided to buy this version, the mop handle is shorter and thinner than the telescopic version which makes it smaller and already easier to store. The bucket is a good size 10L without being bulky, the wringer does do what it says on the box - helps grab the mop to wring out more water and so far very happy with my purchase. The wringer feels a bit 'flimsy' so I wonder how it will hold up over time/use, I'll add more in a month or so to update if its still holding up or broken.

I was apprehensive about ordering this due to the negative comments, I had been looking for weeks for the right one. I actually wanted flat spin mop I just couldn’t find one suitable for me being in a wheelchair.I got so fed up of looking I bought this one thought it will be a disaster given the reviews., however it is perfect. Bucket is light weight, and the mop was easy to assemble there is no way it will be coming apart.I have used it, cleaning is nice and easy, only criticism if any.. i have weak hands I don’t have the strength. I found it difficult trying rinse it so it not to wet the mop.That is not there error.

This arrived today and Iv just mopped up using it, will report back if any faults pop up in future but for now it’s great! No problems, my only issue would be the packaging of the item. Arrived in a thin box and no actual box for the mop and bucket, surprised it wasn’t actually damaged as the box was dented. No actual instructions but was easy to figure out luckily! Mop wrings out nicely and does its job well, seems sturdy enough and doesn’t untwist for me while I use it (the pole, as it clips together and then screws together tightly) so overall I’m happy with it but could use sturdier packaging in future.

I took my mothers advice and brought a well-known mop brand as the mop heads would be easier to replace. The overall quality is fantastic and it's very sturdy. It did take a little more force to clip into place and the bucket was smaller/narrower than I expected but that means it fits nicely in our cupboard. The mop squeezer/rinser is very well designed to get as much water out as possible and is a lot better than other designs I've used before. My only complaint would be that the mop head itself is a little thin. I'm quite an aggressive mopper and find it flopped around like a wet fish a bit.

We needed a new mop, so we upgraded to this beast. Out the box you get a 10l oval red bucket with clip on black drainer, 2 mop heads and mop handle that comes in 3 parts. You simply clip everything together and you are good to go.Unlike normal stringy / ropey mops this mop head measures 40 x 28.3 x 28.5 cm (when laid out) and weighs 1.4 kg, and the 10l bucket is great, that comes in at 35 x 23 x 20cm. I am 6"3 and I have no issue with the mop length, but if you do, you can get an extendable handle if needs be.Fully recommended, easier to work with than traditional heavy mops.

I used a spin mop of an unknown brand. The mop was heavy and the stick broke quickly. I decided to buy a traditional mop. This one is light. At the beginning of use it seemed to me that the mop's head has too few strips. (compared to the previous one). During use I noticed a significant difference. This mop collects well from the surface (even hair). In addition, you can easily wash a small space, e.g. between cabinets which I could not do spin mop with a round head. I am satisfied with my purchase. I also bought a vileda junior kit for my daughter. fantastic solution!

Looked at several mop and bucket sets before choosing this one and I’m glad I did. The bucket is not too huge, the integrated mop squeezer is effective, and the mop handle comes apart into three pieces for easy storage which is a great feature. The mop head itself is quite substantial but squeezes out reasonably well in the squeezer. I have new floors and I am giving the mop head an extra squeeze with my hand to ensure I don’t make the floors too wet, but I don’t think this is completely necessary, just me being careful. Really pleased with my purchase.

OK, so it's a mop and bucket. However, it's useful that the handle comes in three parts and can be easily disassembled for storage.The device for wringing out the excess water is cleverly designed to envelop and squeeze extra water as you press the mop down into it.The "vileda" cloth mop head cleans the floor effectively and rinses out well.Some people appear to have problems with the handle coming apart. When you push the pieces together, you need to twist the inserted part clockwise to lock them together. Turn anti-clockwise to separate.

Great little set, especially for people who have just moved. Vileda is a trusted brand that I look out for when it comes to mop and buckets. The bucket is really sturdy and the drainer(?) clips onto the bucket really easily. Just attach the pieces for the pole together and clip in the mop head. I used hot water and bleach and the difference it made to my floor was visibly noticeable. Really recommend vileda as a brand! The package arrived in a medium sized box and no damage was done when received. We used prime delivery and got it the next day

Perfect product but soured by Amazon’s couriers who seem unable to deliver my parcels to my home - despite correct address being on them - or claiming they knocked at my door when they didn’t. Issues with 4 mis-deliveries in less than two weeks and they can’t put it right. This was 4th item.If there’s a 5th incident I’ll be closing my prime account. Not that they care. But I can buy elsewhere.They’re all trained to be very polite but they don’t resolve issues.I’ve spent hours of my life on the phone to them.Very, very poor.

I bought this mop because I have breathing problems and it was hard work using the floor steamer to clean the floor, plus the steamer left the floor very wet.This mop though is a doddle to use, it gets into corners it even cleaned under the front of the cooker and fridge. It has a springy mop wringing thing that wrings the mop really well without lots of effort, so the floor isn’t left overly wet, which means it dries really quickly . This just makes washing the floor so much easier for me.

This is an old fashioned style mop with a modern twist - with its varied mop head it cleans the floor easily and quickly, getting into the smallest of gaps, and the wringer is so easy to use and very efficient - it leaves the floor just slightly damp, rather than soaking wet, so the floor dries very quickly after it's been cleaned. And it was absolutely amazing at mopping up the water when my daughter had a burst water pipe and all of her ground floor turned into an indoor paddling pool!

Having being too heavy handed with the previous ‘cheap/standard’ mop and bucket I decided to opt for the Vileda set as the images portrayed a sturdier wringer section. So far we have not been disappointed, the set has been used a good few times and no issues. The 4 stars is due to the mop handle being in three click together parts. Whilst this may be practical for storage I’d rather the full stick handle. however, I appreciate this may have been an error on my part when ordering.
