We bought this set because there are 5 minifigures and on discount. The theme is similar to Lego City, but both 'Gator Swam' is fun to build with and nice to have some unusual shape of Lego bricks. The design gives children a lot of imaginative play and get a bit more excitment. The set is aim for minimum 7 years old which I think is about right.
