The great thing about this is that all my three children (2, 4 and 5 years old) can play together as a team - one steers, one fires the power-ups, and the youngest can make a meaningful contribution doing "power skids" (just press the space bar round corners). This means no fighting or arguing whose turn it is and quite a sense of joint achievement.It is also a very compulsive game and great fun.

My son absolutely loves this game. His skill level has improved greatly. He can now beat Rocket Racer!! A cause for great celebtration in our household!It really taught him to persevere. He even went to bed at night reading the instruction manual to improve his skills.He loved it so much he now has moved on to Lego Racers 2, also great - but Lego Racers will always be "Top Car"

My 9 year old boy has been entranced with this game for the last 18 months and it has encouraged his interest in driving in general. Its bright, colourful and user friendly, with just enough catches to stop dad walking away with the first every time! Can't wait for racers 2 to be released. We have tried lots of other lego software, but somehow, racers is the enduring one!
