My 6 year old grandson really enjoyed putting this together and with the help of his sister, aged 11 years, soon had it done. What is good about toys like this is the educational value as well as the creative enjoyment. Instructions need to be read and understood. Pieces have to be identified and placed in the right place. All the while, discussion is going on and decisions are being made. Then comes the final achievement when everybody looks at the finished article and praises the accomplishment! If you have a spare tray to put all the lego pieces on, which can be put aside if needed, then none of them get lost.

Yes well this was the kit the caused great excitement. He is delighted with it, and came close to the top of his present list. He had it for his 5th birthday so needed some help, but Lego is great for small fingers to work with, also helps kids concentrate. Always had Lego when my children were little , a great toy.

I am a 22-year-old avid Lego collector, and I absolutely love this set. I have only made the normal rubbish truck, rather than the chomper machine, but it is a lovely truck and a fabulous addition to my Lego street. Would recommend; one of the best Lego Movie sets that has been released so far.

I recently bought this for my ten year old grandson's birthday and he was quite delighted. He could not wait to start building with this kit. I'm sure it will keep him and his younger brother busy and entertained and provide them with many happy hours of constructive play.

Gave this to my a grandson for his 6th birthday as it was on his Wish List. He obviously needed adult help to get it assembled but he was delighted with it.

I had a very happy ten year old who received this for his birthday after watching the Lego movie! Also 2 in 1 which is great.

Bought for a 9 year old. He loves it. Also great how you can turn it into a typical bin lorry.
