This is certainly a fun set that will be enjoyed by your child, and to be honest by many an adult. The actual snowspeeder has storage boxes, and large stud blasters on the sides plus one small one fixed to the front of the cockpit.Coming with three snowtroopers you have two soldiers and an officer, so there is someone in charge. The engines on the side also have air brakes that can be flipped out to slow you down. There are weapons for all your troopers, so they have hand held firepower when coming into closer contact with their enemies. What I like here are the transparent wheels so that you can push this along the floor making it look like it is hovering to some extent.In all this is well thought out and doesn’t really take too long to put together.

An easy build (for an adult lol)..... but a thouroughly enjoyable one! :)The wheels are a very nice touch (and pretty subtle too!)..... given the robustness of the built set; I would say this would make a great one to play with as well as display.Only gripes are with the minifigs..... the addition of the "skirts" looks a little messy..... and also the helmets are a poor/loose fit..... but this is a VERY small gripe.Overall a very good set and I may even buy another (or two) if I decide to do a big diorama! :D

This was actually supposed to be my friend's birthday present but it came two day late so I opened it up.It took around 30 mins to build and quite fun to play with,Lego did a good job on making it look like the actual thing with cool blasters and three Minifigures but it would have been better if it was slightly cheaper and they could have added a resistance soldier.I think Star Wars fans will really like this and I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent model, with great detail and superb mini figures.....This may be a set to buy and store as the scenes involving the snow speeders was cut from the film. Lego obviously get a heads-up on the production pre-release and identified this as a good addition. For me this set will not be on the shelves for that long.. Cold be one of these great investment sets....One for my son and one in the loft! :-)

My 6 year old son really likes this - he built it fully himself except in a couple of tricky places.It's finish is nice and chunky too, so it still is mainly intact even though he's played with it loads (although I do think he's made some additions - I don't remember it coming with a fire hydrant haha).Dave Johnston - Author:

I'm sure the model will grow on me but the minifigures are superb. Plus for some reason you get 5 printed tiles showing the snow life support back pack type thing that goes on the rear of the minfigs. If memory serves me right you get 5 brackets to fit them onto as well.

Lego is always a big hit with my (now 9yr old) Grandson. He seems to build his sets quicker every time. I always feel that Lego is grossly overpriced, hence the 4 star rating. This set did not disappoint, grandson loved it!

My 6 year old grandson, Lego & Starwars mad, loved this set. It demanded a lot of concentration but he managed it virtually unaided. Kept him busy for a whole morning and looked splendid when finished.. Excellent choice.

Great lego set. My son loves anything and everything lego so really can't go wrong with it. He hasn't built it yet as it's for Christmas but I know he'll have no problems with it

This was a present for my grandson he thought it was fantastic. Delivery was great ordered on Friday arrived Saturday.

I didn't expect much from this set but it was actually really good. The build is very good and there's lots to do.
