This is the new edition Ninjago starter set. I would recommend buying either this or LEGO Ninjago 2257: Spinjitzu Starter Set as these sets work out cheaper than buying two individual characters and come with the arena.This set features Rattla, a grey and blue snake tribe member and Cole ZX, a ninja in a black suit. Each character has their own spinner and three weapons. The spinners in this set are the new version ones which feature crowns, additional fancy lego circles that attach to the top of each spinner. There is also extra space underneath each spinner so that you can attach some of the extra spinner components that come in the booster packs (spikes, chains etc to customise the spinners).The weapons in the new series are also a bit more exciting, there are bits to attach together to make them look pretty impressive, my son likes the snake weapon and the one with the orange spikes (or carrots according to my four year old). There are also some game cards to make game play more exciting.The arena is basic but effective. It is easy to construct using thin black rods and green connecting pieces. It is probably worth noting that you need a hard floor or table top to play this on as the spinners obviously cannot spin on carpet.The aim of the game is to basically put both characters on their spinning tops and set them spinning at the same time, the first character to knock their opponent off their spinner is the winner.The game is simple but fun and can get quite competetive. My son has also got some additional characters and spinners and we like to send them all in for a free for all, we also have the battle arena

My son (11) wanted this quite badly (he loves LEGO products, and has collected Ninjago for a while), so we let him spend his pocket money on it.He couldn't wait for it to arrive, was asking every day, and when it arrived he got it out and started playing with it immediately.At this point we kind of expected him to move on and start asking for the next toy he "Really really wants" ... but we were surprised that this really was the toy he wanted to play with and was played with constantly for about 2 weeks.He still plays with it now, although not every day, so I have to say that this really is worth the money spent on it, at least to an 11 year old boy.

Bought this for my little 6yr old brother as he begged me to buy it for him as a present. And so I did. He loved it, it's got two spinning things and two figurines which are pretty cool. It a great little ninjago game which is great for the price, and keeps them busy for a while. Would recommend to any lego ninjago fan!!

this went down a treat at chistmas and whilst i expected this to be of novelty value, its actually had quite a bit of use. for any children who like lego ninjago this is a great little set which allows them to battle. there are rules included although when they got a bit involved we just made our own up a little!

My son loves everything to do with the ninjago, wasn't that crazy about the star war or other set, so I always keep an eyes on these as the price on the Amazon are up and down. In the wardrobe is usually a good place to hide, waiting for the special occasions. Result is certain to get a very happy son..

Perfect set to start with ninja lego, beware is an addiction, then you will have to buy more.Here you have the good and villain with weapons and spinners, so they can battle together.Perfect present for a boy, mine is nearly five years old.

the cards are only in english.I have to translate how you play.the price is the half of the price in Greece but the cards here are in Greek.Maybe is better to explain that some toys are only for english market.

My grandson loved this Ninjago set. He plays with it for hours and gets a lot of use from it. This set works well with other Ninjago products and is great for imaginative and creative play.

I purchased this for my Grandson as he loves Lego. I wanted something different for him and this certainly was. He loves it. His pals love to play with it as well.

This, along with another set and a battlecase, was a Christmas present for my 9 year old grandson. He loved them all. Highly recommended.

My son loved this. Easy to put together. Sturdy little characters that don't fall apart. Goes well with the Ninjargo Battle case

My Grandson loves this, just wish I had shares in Lego, as you don't feel you are getting a lot for your money!

This was bought for a party present. You can never go wrong with Lego so a good buy. Would recommend
