Got this for my son's birthday, as he had got a box of basic lego bricks and baseplates for Christmas, which he loves building things with, but didn't come with any figures, and it can be quite expensive buying the individual opaque bag type of minifigs.So decided to get this, as it has a decent amount of figures (four) in it for the same price as buying individual minifigs, plus you get some decent extras as well.There are 4 figures in the box, 3 varieties of workers, and a foreman. 3 of them have specific tools (a sledgehammer, a drill, and a megaphone - the megaphone being particularly "old school" lego), and the 4th has no tools, but is for the digger.The digger is good - pretty simple to construct,

The LEGO Starter Sets are great for those new to the range as they're low priced and usually come with more Minifigures than the normal sets at this price point. This set is no exception and along with the mini digger and derelict toilet building, includes no less than four minifigures: the site foreman with a megaphone, a man with a pneumatic drill, a woman wielding a sledgehammer and a grumpy-looking driver for the digger.

My grandson built this set all by himself,great lego set and my grandson loves using his imagination while playing with it,he is 5 so maybe younger children would need a little help but I would recommend it.

This is a nice little set, small and inexpensive but with plenty of bits to keep a child happy for ages, I got one for my son as a small surprise (read: bribe) on a recent flight and it worked a treat.
