The Ninjago sets continue to surprise me in a very good way. I will be honest and say the only reason I purchased this set because of the board game feature - I bought the Skull Dungeon because it looked incredible on the pack art and then got this because it ties in for a board game. The little castle dungeon this builds is really nicely detailed and was a really enjoyable construction experience. It comes with a little pathway up to the dungeon itself which forms the spaces for the board game and is surprisingly large when all put together. I really liked that there is a little cot bed in the dungeon so at least your minifigure captive can be comfy. As seems to be the case with these Ninjagokits there are a plethors of minifigures included and the little Orc type guy is incredibly detailed. Sadly he doesn't fit in the cage with his battle axe in hand but he does fit without it.The mechanism for the cage raising and lowering is simple and very effective.Definitely a fan of this kit and it is going to look great when I get the whole 4 built and on display - likely will never actually play the board game as it is a rather basic race to the end style game but the gameplay available with even just this as a stand alone piece is incredible and reminds me strongly of the castle kits from the late 1980s/early 1990s and this is a GOOD thing.Number Of Pieces: 401Approximate Price Per Piece: £0.06Build Time: 1.25 Hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego was great to build with my 6-year-old son. He loves the Ninjago sets and when I told him that this set is also a board like game, he couldn' wait to finish the set and play the game. Like all lego products, the set was sectioned off into numbered bags and the instructions were very easy to follow. My son was able to build it with virtually no help from me. While this is a small set I love how it connects to other sets to make a large set that is used to play a game. The minifig spinner worked great and looked cool. This set also had lots of moving parts that are very fun to play with like the cage that goes up and down and the moving path that leads up to the main section. The traps that were added worked great and are easy to reset without any frustration. Overall, this was a great build experience for both me and my son and he can't wait to get the other sets and see how they apply to playing the game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a ton of fun helping my grandson put together his Lego Ninjago:Journey to the Skull Dungeons playset together. It's cool to see all of the pieces come together to create the ultimate playset.Loved seeing his imagination come to life with the life-like characters and cool mountain castle.Took a little longer than I expected to put together, but he's 7 and this set recommends 10+.There are so many little details to add, rearrange, and play with which gives your children added playtime.Super fun build, super fun to play with, only downside is not having all the other sets.

This dynamic set is built in 3 stages, with the Lego pieces divided into 3 corresponding packets for ease of use & comes with 4 Lego figures, allowing several kids to play. Build time was just over 2.5 hours for our 7 year old, using the enclosed instruction book, and he really enjoyed building it. Finished build size when straightened out is 16"W x 3"D x 5.5"H although the set is articulated so can be manoeuvred for imaginative play. The included board game element adds extra fun but is flimsy.

This Lego set is great! It’s part of the ninjago series and comes with 4 characters and a dungeon play set! The qualitys really good and the set has lots of detail and accessories for the figures! There’s even two ways to play! (Either as a play set or as part of a board game) and you can have the option of adding more sets from the ninjago range too! My daughter loves it and has spent many hours playing with it by herself & with the family. Clear instructions included make it easy to set up too

My son couldn’t wait to start playing as soon as we started building. You get four mini figures, including the green ninja! There’s some fun interactive elements in this set, the cage opens and can be moved with a wheel and one of the spaces jumps up, sending the mini figure flying. The build was straight forward but took abit of time so kept him busy. It’s already become a firm favourite. Only thing was we couldn’t figure out the gameplay element. Other sets can be joined to add to the fun.

My son (age 6) really enjoyed building this with me. He loves Lego, we have previously just bought the assorted brick sets but he loved the working cage (that lifts up and down) and we had a good time playing the game. The attention to detail and the accessories you get, you can see why Lego is always a favourite. I would definately reccomend this set, it is quite small but it was a hit with my son, and it doubles up as a board game using the sheet in the box. You also get 4 Lego figures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Journey to the Skull Dungeons lego set has kept my teen son and Husband busy for awhile now. Its got a lot of small pieces and is a bit challenging but they have both been enjoying it. The directions are not the best but you can figure them out with a bit of logical thinking. The final product looks really good and is fun to play with. Legos are always fun as a solo or family project. If you enjoy legos you will enjoy this set.

Wow. Just, wow. What a spectacular set! This has an overall five star rating, and it totally deserves it. Not only are you getting a great looking set, and four super cool minifigures, but also a board game experience! (Which I haven't really tried out yet, but is sure to be fun.) It looks great on a shelf, and is super fun to play with. What else could you ask for?Anyway, I'd definitely recommend picking this up next time you get a chance!

This is a great set, it took longer than expected to make with 113 steps, which kept kids entertained for a couple of hours. Wheel moves cage up and down, a lever makes Lego fly off, 4 figures included. There is a game sheet included with set, which makes this a different approach to the game and keeps it interesting for the kids to play with. Would recommend.

This comes in a small box but lots of pieces in it. It comes with lots of hinged, moveable parts and parts that “pop up” and move on cranks. The only thing that I would say is in terms of the game element - to get the full game experience, you have to buy the other ninjago sets. But overall a really fun, interactive set with quite a few figures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LEGO set was a blast, it was also fairly challenging, me and my kid loved doing this together and it comes out so cool! Definitely was a challenge but still nothing too challenging. Love the pieces and characters in this one! What a great scene it ends up being! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my kids really enjoyed this set. I will say my 7 year old had difficulty putting it together but my 11 year old put it together in maybe an hour. It was well worth it and they not only love playing with it but also displaying it as well. Very unique and fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a big Ninjago fan and had a lot of fun building this set. It was the perfect level of difficulty for him. He loved the 4 mini figs that came with it and all their little weapons and armor. His favorite part of this set is the hanging cage.
