When I realized earlier this year that I had missed out on getting the BIG helicarrier, I wasn’t about to let the opportunity slip through my fingers again - and pre-ordered this as soon as it was available. I savored this build, imagining I was a S.H.I.E.L.D. engineer. There was significantly difficult technic pieces in the rotating fans, which allowed me to shine while my 6yo kiddo was able to work on some of the “easier” parts. I echo some of the sentiments of other reviewers: for the price and size some of the playability is sacrificed for some cool bells a whistles - I fully enjoy the fan mechanism, but do think the set would be more successful with more interior play area. Alright so, this set is really good and I really like it. The figures are exceptional and MODOK is really nice since he's only in one other set and one of my favorite comic villains. Now we have Nick Fury, I don't feel very good about buying the stark jet...anyway, the biggest problem I have is the middle. It's taken up by a mechanism that moves the fans when you push it. I don't use this feature very often and it's really a waste of space. I wish they hollowed it out and used the 100 or 200 pieces used to make more of a hanger bay. They also could have made another one of the little fighter, or included one in that falcon character pack. Maybe put a few more pieces to make the interior bigger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set has been a blast putting together with the family as everyone got to take turns building different parts. Kids are excited that it has many moving parts and that it shoots. Does have a instruction booklet that helps a lot when putting this together. My mistake was putting some on wrong and couldn't get propeller to move correctly so needless to say had to brake down parts and rebuild. Lol The legos are packaged in different bags and are labeled so it made it easier to put together. I'm amazed at how huge this is when put together. And you get plenty of Lego superheros to play with. So far this set is the kids favorite Lego set they put together.

This set was awesome when I had ordered it I thought the box would be a wee bit smaller but its good! I loved the people, especially War machine. I got one from the buster, so I put the opening cap on this ones body. I like modok, nice big and fat with the life support. I like the plane thing, it is cool. Now for the problem. I like the interior, but when it comes with 6 good guy minifigures, you ought to have more than three seats. I personally think(along with the other guy) that instead of the weird mechanisim for the moving fans, to hollow that out and make more of and interior. The set was a little too small, but otherwise great. keep making good sets like this. If you read to the end,

The Helicarrier is a larger build but not a very complicated one, with the design not based on any from the films or anything from the comics. It still however fits the iconic look of a Marvel Helicarrier.It contains a few play features, a cell at the back, detachable plane and a new design of missile launcher. It can make the overall deck of the carrier a little busy when all put together but where this set shines is the amount of minifigs you get. 7 on total is rather nice, the coolest being a new helmet Captain Marvel.Overall it’s a great play piece and a great, easy build for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my best LEGO purchases. Everyone in our family is an Avengers fan, including my 5 year old daughter. She's also into LEGO and is able to follow instructions. I was a bit skeptical as they package says 8 year+, but she was able to do it with ease. Keeps the kid busy for 30-45 minutes in one sitting. She did this over multiple days and there was an extreme sense of satisfaction after completing it. It also comes with a few superhero figurines. The villain featured is Modok and not Thanos. I will highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old son loves Legos and I enjoy the time together building them. This set was fun for both he and I and took us a couple days in the afternoon to finish mainly do to his attention span. I’m sure this LEGO set would entertain any age group especially fans of superhero’s. The set was easy to assemble and looked amazing when completed. We have the finished product displayed in his Avenger themed bedroom. The blocks/pieces connected with ease and each individual piece is well made and gives so much detail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 year old loves building legos and was excited to build a set this big. All the bags are labeled which makes it easy to follow along with the building instructions. The instructions are easy to follow as well and have pictures showing how it should look. With this set being a much bigger one compared to others my son has built it is very time consuming. It definitely will keep you occupied for sometime. It took about a week for my son to actually finish it and he was super excited when he was finally done.

Fantastic set. It took 4 hours to build as it's a very intricate design. A 9 year old may need adult assistance as it's certainly not suitable for a 45 year old mum who can't read instructions! I missed a cog early on and had to take it apart when I realised that pushing it should make the turbines turn. Pros: hours of fun building and playing with it. Cons: all the instructions are in one book so it's difficult for all the family to join in with the build easily resolved by taking a copy

This came right on my son's 11th birthday and he was thrilled to have it. it is a relatively big Helicarrier with many parts so took a couple of days to put together. There are accompanying Marvel characters to play with including a Hydra Goon, Black Widow, Iron Man and Thor to name a few. The Helicarrier feels smooth, firm and looks lovely when completed and can be moved easily on a flat surface as it has wheels underneath. It is a delight to play with for kids.

Easy to to set up with full instructions that are step by step and easy to follow. Has over 1000 well made Lego pieces that fit together without force. Once created the product did not disappoint and looked amazing, felt a real sense of accomplishment. Hours spent as a family putting this together was definitely a highlight as well as seeing the final product. Was able to add to the other marvel Lego sets I have taking pride of place amongst them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was never a fan of Legos, however, this all changed when I noticed my son put the miniature spaceship together incorrectly. I found myself taking what he did apart and put it back together. Next thang I was saying to myself is that “I finish the rest tomorrow” and that was all it took. I actually enjoyed putting the Avengers Helicarrier together. I’m a fan of Legos now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so fun to build with my kids. They are obsessed with the lego marvwl superheo Xbox game, and this kind of brought their obsession to life. We loved that it came with 8 figurines. Iron man is our favorite. It was a pretty average lego build but I agree that 9+ is very accurate when it comes to age. Our favorite part is that the turbines spin. How cool is that?!

This lego kit is amazing. the box comes with 9 different packs inside and a manual that has 213 pages and 269 steps on how to build it. Each step was clear and my 10 year old built it all on his own with me watching. He built it over a few days and loved every minute of it. It comes with 8 figures and the main ship is about 40 cms long, 30cms wide and 10 cm tall.This is a must for all lego and marvel fans

The whole set is amazing. It's great to have a LEGO Helicarrier for cheap. the Minifigures are great, especially the new War Machine. The brick built M.O.D.O.K. was the best things to build besides the Helicarrier. The Helicarrier itself was the best thing in this set. what I especially loved about it was the wheel that makes the turbines spin. I would definitely recommend you buying this set.
