Those geniuses (genii) at Lego have triumphed again with this construct-before-you-play board game. My son adores the Ninjago series and particularly enjoys playing with the mini figures, largely thanks to the cartoon shown on telly. What's so great about this is that the game itself is fairly challenging to construct so there's a good building project for your child from the get-go.The game itself is good fun too with the ninjago characters (in the form of ulta minifigs) having to make their way through the temple gardens (ie up the board) battling skeleton guards and searching guardhouses for golden weapons as they go. You progress across the board with a dice and the outcome of any skirmishes is determined by spinning a lego spinning top - win and you carry on,

I bought this for my 7 year old nephew who is really into lego. He wanted to play almost immediately and we spent about half an hour building it - with easy to follow instructions. After initial construction you do not have to rebuild each time - unless you want to. The game requires concentration to initially understand it, and it is different to most games in that it is a cooperative game. My nephew enjoyed the working together element and discussing various strategies that could be employed. The only thing I would say is that once we'd found the best strategy it was fairly easy to win. There are alternative rules but we have not tried those yet, my nephew not yet getting bored after repeated play.

I bought this toy for my 9 yr old son who's is obsessed with anything Lego. It's a sturdy toy that has him occupied for hours. Not many toys can do that. However, he has actually used the board as a battle field for all his other Lego men. Overall, it's turned out to be quiet versatile and great value for money.

Bought this for my 10 year old son. He was thrilled! As well as the usual lego construction, it is a board game that everyone can play with! The great thing is that you can physically change the game every time you play, so getting bored with it is out of the question. Arrived quickly.

This game was for my grandson for Christmas and he spent all afternoon putting it together and, with the help of his daddy, understanding the game play. He is 8 years old and loved it. He loves all lego products.

It takes a while to get into this game, because unless you all work together as a team the evil skeleton General keeps beating you. Lots of fun, and potential to adapt the game.

Present for my kids at Christmas - they haven't had a chance to play the game as my Ninjago fan (boy 7) decided it would go great with more of his Ninjago sets :O

Lego is fun most times but putting the game together and then playing made it more personal and pride in his achievement for my grandson excellent gift.

Took a while to read instructions and understand how to play then we enjoyed game with our 6 year old over Xmas holidays !!
