Firstly (if you haven't already done so) have a really good look at the product's images on the left side of the product's page; they are superb and show exactly what one is going to get. About halfway down the page there are another four images that one can expand to fill the whole screen and they really show in great detail what a child will be buildingMy seven-year-old daughter has played with this pretty much everyday since she built it about two weeks ago. She pretty much was able to build it all by herself in an afternoon, roughly two hours I'd say. She did need help with sticker placement, but that's about it.The instructions are superb and providing one's child is fairly meticulous they should be able to complete it by themselves.From experience I know my daughter can sometimes rush through the instructions so after each page we'd check together that everything matched the instructions because (as we've found to our cost in the past) putting something right several pages down the line can be rather a lot of detective work and time.My daughter's favourite seems to be all of it. She does like the way the top of the side of the van opens and she also likes the revolving hot chocolate cup on the top of the van.I note some comments about this being rather small; well from a storage / desk footprint point of view that's just fine by me. The reason I have removed one star is both of us thought the double slides are just a little two short. I'm probably going to lengthen them with a a couple of lengths of cut-in-half pipe.

This is a nice compact little bundle that feels a little bit like two mini sets wrapped into one, with the hot chocolate van on one side and the sleds on the other. It’s a nice selection mixing up a bunch of more common pieces such as the vehicle base and the table with some lesser-found bits like the sledging slope- all in the established Lego Friends colour scheme, so it instantly drops into place next to any other Lego Friends toys you may have already.Assembly is straightforward and the instructions are always are super-clear, though there’s maybe an above-average amount of fiddly bits in this particular set- the cups, the cookies, the signage on the van and the interestingly quirky design of the large hot chocolate mug that goes on top.However despite a bit of fiddliness it didn’t take my excited six-year-old long to get these bits together and once built, the sledging slope, although short, got a fair bit of repeat use which was a pleasant surprise.Being an ‘old generation’ Lego kid I do sometimes wish that more use was made of the normal 4x2 and 2x2 classic bricks in the core of these designs, which I think would help kids feel like they can spread their imagination a bit further, and maybe this set is just a little too prescriptive, and can only really be used to build one specific design. Or maybe it’s me that’s not using my imagination enough there yet!It’s 4 stars from me for the fiddliness mainly, though I’m being a little harsh there and if there were a 4-and-a-half stars option I’d be picking that.

Snow resort hot chocolate van.::::::::::::::::In the set you get:::::::::::::Two dolls (characters)- Mia and Amanda, both in winter themed outfits.An all singing all dancing hot chocolate van- it has a sliding serving window, cash registrar, money ( a Lego "bill" ) and a hot chocolate machine.TableDouble sledging slope2 mugsWhipped creamCookiesMapSizing::::::::::This is a fairly compact set that doesn't take up too much room if you want to display it after you have built it.Van is 11cm high, 12cm long, 5 cm wide.Slide is 8cm high, 6cm wide and 6cm deep.Sledges are 4cm long, 2cm wide and just under 1cm high.Age:::::::This is designed for ages 6-12, it has some models that are very simple,like the table, slide and sledges while the van is more complex and took a little adult help.Play value:::::::::::::::::We loved building this and when built it was a joy to play with.It becomes a good, functional "toy" in its own right, rather than just a building set.The girls loved having a Lego set designed for them and they preferred the softer edges and the more doll like look to the characters.

This set is part of the new Lego Friends winter, Snow Resort, range. It is aimed at 6-12 year olds and has 246 pages. You get the bags of bricks (obviously!), stickers and two mini figures (Mia, one of the original, ‘Lego Friends’ and Amanda).My daughter is pretty obsessed by Lego Friends and watches the show, so she was delighted with this. The instruction booklet is very detailed and allowed her to build this herself. If your child is at the lower end of the age group, they might need help with the stickers.Although the Hot Chocolate Van itself is fairly small, it is very detailed and offers a lot of play value – along with the fun of building it. The van opens from the side,allowing access to buy those treats, which are so important in cold weather. There is a cash register, mugs, cookies and even whipped cream!Also, there is a little sled run/slide, along with two sleds, for extra play fun, and a table for the customers to sit and relax. This really is a lovely set and it is nice to have two mini-figures, which are enough to make the toy work if you do not have other sets.

Another fun Lego Friends Set which features a Snow Resort Hot Chocolate Van. Mathis one is a brilliant price and forms part of the new range of Lego Friends set centred on winter fun with the famous give best friends.This set includes Mia and Amanda, two ski slides, the hot chocolate van, coffee cups, table and the hot chocolate cup which sits on top of the van. Putting together the figures and smaller parts my niece found easy and required no help from me but the van was a little difficult for her so we used the comprehensive instructions and she was so pleased with finished result. It is a compact little set and does not take up too much room on display in her bedroom.Lego is one of the best value presents you can give or receive and can be passed down through the ages,my family have all loved it from Duplo right through to Technic. This is a brilliant value set that would make a fantastic gift for a lucky child, the age group is 6 to 12. Cannot wait to add to this set.

This Lego set is great value, it's a big box and there are two mini figures inside. It took my daughter about an hour to build, the van itself is quite cool and the side opens out. The top is removable so you can get into the inside of the van, and my daughter's favourite bit of the whole set was the large cup of hot chocolate on the roof!There's also a toboggan slide, where the two characters can race each other, although it would have been better if the slide was a bit longer!A lovely set as a small present or a treat.

The Snow Resorts sets are really lovely and we have this Hot Chocolate van as well as the ski lift and ice rink and the sets all work really well together.This set is such a joy with the hot chocolate van topped with a big cup of frothy hot chocolate on the top of the van. The van has a sliding window for service and you can have one character in the van and one outside so that they can make each other a drink. Alongside the van, there is also a set of slides for the girls - Mia and Amanda to whizz down on their toboggans.

My daughter loves all things Lego, and has a few sets of Friends already. The sets are colourful,m and easy enough to build (she's 9), but I don't get why they have to make the people non-standard. The people in the Friends sets are more like Playmobil people. and we all know Playmobil has no place in a Lego set.That aside, this is a good set; the price is realistic too, and the set should provide plenty of entertainment for your Lego loving small person.

I ordered this lego set of Snow Resort Hot Chocolate Van for my niece. She loved this lego set and the packaging is amazing. She has added the chocolate van to her city and is selling whipped chocolate coffee and cookies. This product for your lego city is highly recommended.

This is a good value lego set for any child who likes playing with as well as building their lego. Works well with any of the other lego friends sets. It comes with two figures, clear instructions and provides good play value.

Bought this for our grandaughter whose 6 and loves her Lego, she loves to follow the instructions in the booklet as she builds the set up and has hours of fun with her Lego, would recommend this set

A great addition to the Snow Resort collection. My granddaughter, aged 6, found it well within her capability and also the Ice-rink. The named characters are very popular too.

This came in handy as I bought this as a Christmas present. The child was over the moon as she had, had the same previously but misplaced some of the pieces.
