This was purchased when on sale for a friends son who saved up his pocket money and paper round earnings but likes to get good value for his money. I bought it on his behalf and it was delivered quickly with sturdy packaging and no damage in transit.Popping the box side so he could keep the parts safe for him we examined the set.There are two clear instruction booklets detailing the build, a largish loose plate for the base of the helicopter and four numbered bags with smaller parts kept in their own smaller bags inside them. There was also a small sheet of stickers.The set builds into a large helicopter that has a good range of features and looks quite stylish,

This is quite a big set to build - 2 instruction books.The first part is quite simple and solid but it gets difficult when the sides and top are built. I found the small wheels fell off regularly, often taking parts of the sides with them. Getting the top of the helicopter on needed some care and might be a challenge for the younger in the age range (6-12yrs) The rotors are solid although the back unit is heavy and can fall off easily.Once built it was given into the hands of my youngest who enjoyed whooshing it round the house. The doors at the back did break off when putting in the police car but they are easily replaced.Generally a good set but I think younger builders might need a hand (or

I bought this toy for my grandson for his 5th birthday - although aged 6 - 12 he specifically asked for it and as he is so used to Lego we felt that with help he would manage to build and play with it. I helped him build it and he was very impressed - these vehicles of which he has quite a few need to be played with carefully if they are to be kept intact as bits can fall off. He was delighted with the end result and Lego have added some great wheels which means you just have to touch it and it moves gracefully around - which was fun. Again as with Amazon it arrived very quickly.

Both my niece and nephew just love this set and enjoy making up this particular design.The children love trying to get the model to load and load cargo - although at times the hatch at the rear seems to pull off.A classic toy that enhances a child's creative thinking. Check the price though, the on-line price is a bit high and this set can be found for cheaper.

My 9 years old loves this helicopter - the attention to details, the versatiltiy and the creative play opportunities it opens. He asked me to mention that he wishes it was a tad more robust. Nevertheless, it is possible to reinforce the propellors (for example) with other lego pieces so all is well in Lego land

This is a great way to spend time with the Grandchildren.It teaches them to read-construct and have fun as well.The Helicopter is a large project and when finished a great toy as well.The Lego collection is growing very quickly.Full marks,agreat way to spend a couple of evenings enjoying yourselves.

I bought this for my seven year old grandson who took himself off to his bedroom and came down a couple of hours later with it complet and without any help. He loves the police car which goes inside and plays with it a lot. It can be a bit fragile but is soon put back together. A total hit!

My son bought this with his birthday money. Even he (at 6) understood that although we could purchase it from Argos today it was £10 more for for the same item. He gave his money to mummy and I ordered it, within a couple of days it was here, built up and one if his favourite Lego items.

My son had looked in a number of stores for this without success. It arrived quickly after being ordered. It kept him quiet while he was building it and he spends hours playing with this. It's great to see him not being attached to something electronic!

Fantastic lego quality toy. Great birthday present for 9yr old brother. He's lego mad and thoroughly enjoyed building this. Has played with it loads and it's still holding together!!! Stimulates his imagination. Very pleased with purchase - as was he!

This was ordered by my son for his birthday. When he opened the present he was so excited. He loved building the model which he did himself and since then has had lots of fun loading and unloading things into the back and flying around the room.

very good product and well worth the money.It takes a bit of time building it - but once its done its done (keep your instruction books just incase)you get 2 pilots for the helicopter and a little sheriff and his car.

Cheapest place I've found Lego products, and as they are my sons favourite at the moment Im sure I will be returning as the service and fast and efficient. As always with Lego, the helicopter is a top quality product.

I bought this for "my son" (me) and it's awesome - a little fragile, if I'm honest, but it's brilliant - especially at the price of £20....With a few small modifications, it can take 2 vehicles inside too :)

I got this for my son and when it was time for the cousins birthday (who live abroad) I knew immediately it would be the best gift for them and they were delighted. Quite good value for money also.
