Overall, this toy is great! One thing I am VERY VERY HAPPY about, is the fact that Lego didn't add guns or any other weapons to this toy. Thank You Lego! I have a 4 year old son & guns are everywhere in kids toys. I think it is very irresponsible & inappropriate for the toy creators/makers of children's toys to add guns, knives, missiles & other weapons to kids toys! Again, thank you Lego for making a toy without weapons!This is labeled 4+ which is fine for the kids to play with, but if you have a 4 year old boy that likes to crash things up constantly & if you don't want to be putting this back together constantly, this isn't the toy for for you. A lot of tiny parts, so an adult needs to put together,

I like lego sets. This one is a new challenge from just putting together those rectangular houses. New shapes! It, too, can be assembled anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours, usually less. This cost about $11, so the price divided by total pieces was reasonable. These lego sets give a chance for dad-son bonding, talk and ask questions of each other as you're assembling it together. This police helicopter is made to be played with. It's not like some of the fancy architectural sets that are assembled and put on a display shelf. Every lego set that I've ever seen tends to fall apart. As such, if you're going to play with this helicopter, I recommend using glue on the stationary pieces (but not for pieces like rotary blades and doors)

This set had many pieces that would be interchangeable with other sets so the child can use his/her imagination as well as follow the directions included with the set. This is a feature I look for when purchasing LEGO building sets. I am disappointed that many sets available now have very specific building ideas and pieces that are hard to use in imaginary construction. I love the quality of all LEGO brick products! The cost of the product is high, but they last the lifetime of the child and are not outgrown. This set was purchased for our grandson, but the grandchildren also still play with LEGO bricks purchased 30+ years ago for our children. They are a learning toy that lasts.

I had a Police Helicopter when I was seven, but I have since lost the instructions to rebuild it. I wanted a helicopter to take it's place, and found this one. I am really impressed with the new durable design. It is bigger than the Helicopter I had 18 years ago, and it was a lot of fun to build.The only downside are the stickers that have to be placed on it. If you are the kind of person that has to have the stickers on just right, then be very careful; they are a little tricky to put on.This LEGO set has made me want to buy more Police sets, and makes me want to buy a couple more Helicopters in order to keep my City safe.

We have multiples of this now -- having been given it as gifts. The price is right.This is easy to build and fun to play with. Combine it with other sets to haul away criminals -- IMPORTANT -- this set does not include bad guys.The pilot wears a crash helmet, and the set comes with tools -- binoculars and two pairs of handcuffs.My sons say this is a very nice toy. They use it all the time. Sometimes the bad guys hijack the helicopters.Good beginners set. Stock up for birthday presents, Moms and Dads.**See our photos in customer images.**

This really is a neat set. As it states on the box, ages 5-12 are recommended for play. If you have some younger crew setting it up, you'll definitely need to stick around. I had a 4 and 5 year old there and I probably would have had some sort of wall with lasers on it when I got back if I had left them alone, minus a few pieces, I'm sure. When it was done, the boys were extremely proud and showed it off to everyone - honestly it does look pretty cool.

My 5 year old son and I just got finished putting it together a few hours ago. From the time we finished till now--he's been holding it or it's been next to him. He loved putting it together with some help. It may be a little hard to put together esp. with the really small pieces, but it was fun to spend about half and hour with him building it with him. The directions are easy to follow. I would recommend this and very happy about my purchase.

Our son really enjoyed putting this together. I enjoyed helping him (I am his helper of course, allowed to find the next piece needed :). Once he had it together he played with it for a couple of days and was onto something new. But it was worth it to see his face when he finished it. Pretty much the same for all the Legos we've given him. The exception are the Technic line - he plays with them off and on weeks/months after completing them.

All of these Lego product kits can work together or alone to create hours of fun, both in putting them together and then combining imagination to perform rescues and other adventures. Great learning tool for kids of any age above the age where they would put the pieces in their mouths. Young builders learn hand eye coordination as well as learning to follow directions. One of those projects that is a good sharing time for a Dad and child!

It is difficult to single out one LEGO set from the rest because the manufactured quality, effort, imagination and creativity are recognized in every single set, with no difference. In my opinion you cannot make a mistake, whichever you choose. I started bying LEGO sets long time ago and still, after all these years, I see that they preserved all the trademarks of their products and plus added some improvements over time. A job well done!

But, I hated the packaging (lack of) from this seller! Amazon would'nt take my first review, so, here is the scaled down version, w/out caps!I totally despise something arriving, smashed flat, when giving said purchase as a gift.The big question is--do I open it to check for breakage and retape? I know it's hard to break a LEGO, but...this was smashed pretty flat. I will be careful in the future and not buy from Amazing Plush.

This is a neat little helicopter. It looked like a great value for the $, and it has lived up to that expectation. We got it as a present for our 6-year-old's birthday. He absolutely loved it and has played with it tons. The chopper blades, special panels, lego handcuffs, etc. have already been put to use in numerous other children's creations. Absolutely no complaints on this purchase!

Always delighted with LEGO....BUT!!!!.....our 7 yr olds twin grandsons had some trouble assembling the unit...and it constantly fell apart...they wanted to actually play with it and it broke apart too often...I believe it's really for an older child .....but instructions were great tho and easy to follow.......adult supervision was needed from step one thru completiong tho

My 6 year old loves this toy. He had trouble putting it together, so I helped, but he plays with it all of the time. So, if your kid is a fan of legos, they will like this. (It has neat little compartments that I thought were really cute and detailed for a toy- it gave me the opportunity to tell my son about police helicopters and why we have then, etc.)

Though the age on the package is 5-12, I thought I'd go ahead and get this for my grandson, who was a bit younger at the time at 4 years 2 months old. He is very creative etc. and getting this for him was no mistake. He has enjoyed playing with it ever since I gave it to him. He loves Lego products, and they are good for him.
