I'll have to admit that, now that I've gotten my head around Lego's 'Brick Headz', I'm near completely smitten by them.The collecting, and the building, of these iconic characters is great fun.'Iron Man' needs little in the way of any introduction, but I would say that as 'No. 6' in the 'Brick Headz' series, he's more like 'No. 1' if you're looking to collect some Avengers (Captain America, The Hulk and Black Widow are also available).Even if you've never done a Brick Headz build, this is pretty straightforward, with a 'blocky', basic silhouette. There the design's lifted is in the contrasts between the 'Hot Rod Red' of the body and the 'golden' touches to the face plate.

One of the most popular items on sale at comic conventions are collectable figures, not dissimilar to this Lego kit. The problem is that they collectable and they stay boxed and live on a shelf.This is a toy. Your child gets to put it together and can play with it or have it as an ornament, but the main thing is they can play with it. If you look on some of the Lego websites you will see that these are in limited supply. Some are marked as "hard to find" and some as "retiring soon". By the look of it there could be a second market here for kits still in the box. A great shame, it's still a toy.The kit is 96 pieces of Lego. Instructions, as always, very clear.

In the LEGO UK 41590 Brickheadz Iron Man model box are two transparent bags full of Lego blocks and a brilliant construction guide, that gives the child (or adult) all the information needed to build the model, layer by layer, using only graphics.Each page of the guide shows all the blocks needed for the current layer with an illustration of the completed layer. Sorting out the blocks is a great observational tool and building the layer develops manual dexterity.Completing the construction provides a great sense of achievement.The LEGO UK 41590 Brickheadz Iron Man model is not just an attractive model it’s an educational toy that’s fun. My granddaughter loves it.

These are so cute! We recently built and reviewed the Batman and the iron man is of course a similar concept, and they look great together on a shelf to build up a collection to display. As mentioned in my batman review, I feel 10+ is too high a recommended age. My 6 year old made this iron man with no help needed, and it's a pretty easy quick build with clear instructions. He's now displaying both in his room, so don't be put off by the age suggestion. It is fine from about 4-5+ if your kid knows how to put together Lego and follow the instructions! But would appeal to older Lego fans as collectibles too im sure

This was smaller than expected but my little boy loves it! Hes almost 6 and so I did think it may be a bit too complex for him with it having a guide age of 10+ however, he managed to put it all together with no help!:) I do t think it's worth the price but then LEGO is expensive for what it is anyway!

Planned this as a gift for my son but found my husband hd swiped it before I could give it to him!The toy side of this is brilliant and will keep any Lego fan occupied for quite a while.As a collectible it looks great on the shelf once completed.Brilliant gift for any Lego fan.

These have gone down well in my house.. they're like Pop Funko's in their style, but in Lego. They are easy to put together, and look great on display. The quality is as expected from Lego, and are a reasonable price. We will be happy to build up a collection of these.

This is such a cute item.. my daughter and I are a fan of Marvel, and are always on the lookout for different 'toys'.. and Lego is always a winner. It was simple enough to put together, and it looks great out on display. So much so, I've just ordered three more!

Not really a "toy" but more of a collectors piece. However, my 5 year old nephew loves The Avengers and wanted them, and got them, and PLAYS with them.My own Jack Sparrow was built once and it in a cabinet. Each to his own.

My nine-year-old found this easy and quick to make, and it looks pretty good on his shelf. The head doesn't wobble as I had assumed it would, which is a shame because I was interested to see how you could do that using Lego.

Easy to follow instructions, pieces come in 2 bags. Looks great when made up. Lots more female superheroes these days. I can see these being collectables in the future. Will make a lot of young people's Christmas.

These are excellent little models they make great stocking fillers... they look great on the shelf.I have collected all the avengers teams only trouble is argue with the family who’s putting them together

Brickheadz are fun collectables or make a great gift. This little model of Captain America is fun, easy to build and of course the high quality plastic bricks you'd expect from Lego.

Cute and fun. I don't know why it's targeted at children aged over 10; my 5 year old worked his way through it faster than me! It's been such a hit, I'll be ordering others for him.
