I have seen the Brick Headz range for a little while now on Amazon and the Lego site but I must admit that I thought they didn't look that great at first. Having now built one I can confirm that they are good fun, a nice simple build and yes they do look pretty cool on display. There are three ranges of the Brick Headz at the moment which are DC, Marvel and Disney and I can see Lego ending up expanding the range with more characters and these becoming as collectible as the Mighty Micro's sets which my son has a few of.I have measured the Batman Brick Headz and he measures approximately 9cm tall (without his stand) by 4.5cm wide (including his stand)by 5cm wide (including his stand). The Batman Brick Headz comes with two build bags and a base for him to stand on. There is one instruction book and as usual from Lego it has very easy to follow steps. One big thing that I really like is that there are no stickers to attach and the pieces with a design on them are pre-printed. Once built he is quite small but surprisingly he consists of 91 pieces.Of course one of the really fun features is that his eyes actually do glow in the dark and they look brilliant. They didn't glow straight out of the box but after a day in normal daylight they started to work that evening.I'm not sure why the recommended age is 10 years and older as it's a very simple build and my two children would not have struggled to build him by themselves. This is a fun build and Batman has been designed very well and looks great on my sons shelf at the moment.

Okay, let's the get the elephant in the room dealt with first... Many people are going to compare these to those 'F-word' plastic figures. Yup, I did exactly the same thing, as these are around about the same size (and you might even see them around about the same price); but I'm now totally swayed by the Lego take. Why? Well, not only is it a great, and interesting, little build; but there's plenty of neat little touches, that may not come across well in any photographs. I do entirely subscribe to the 'less is more', and there's more than enough interesting shapes and colour (okay, dominated by 'black') to easily pick this out as Batman.I really liked the little details, like the 'hands',and especially the 'glow in the dark' eyes. It's these little details that always sets Lego apart. The brick count isn't overly generous, but I kept reminding myself that 'this is Lego', and I can always tear it down, play around with it or, even better, modify the set to add in more details (not something that can be said for the alternatives!)When compared to its peers, this is a great little build, and probably the most natural starting point (as well as being marked as 'Set No. 1') for anyone wanting to try the BrickHead series.I love it, and now can't wait to get my hands on another.

Brick Headz are a series of Lego figures which allow you to build models of various famous fictional characters using lego. With something of a square head. This is one of four of them based on the recent 'The Lego Batman movie.' In this case it's the Dark Knight himself. That vigilante hardcore rapping machine who is definitely not Bruce Wayne really. The box contains lots of lego bricks, in two plastic bags. The box doesn't come open easily and I did have to tear the flap to do that. And the bags are not resealable. There is an instruction booklet which shows you how to build the figure. In twenty five stages, using no words just pictures. This is very easy to follow. And to find the right bricks. And in just over twenty minutes, I had built Batman. Which was fun. This is not a toy, as there are no points of articulation. It is recommended for those aged ten and over, and does contain lots of small pieces so isn't good for the younger ones. The design of the figure is one that grows on you. The absence of a mouth doesn't quite work, but the little batarangs are great. It does look great on a shelf also. So for the Bat fan with the money to splurge, it's great fun to build and have.

This brickheadz range from Lego is really cute, and quite a fresh and different way of building with Lego compared to the usual sets - this just involves making one collectible stand alone model. Once finished they would be great to display as they're quite quirky. My only query is why it's recommended for 10+. These sets are very easy to make, and younger children also like Batman. So if looking at this with a child in mind don't let the age put you off. It's very very simple, a child of 4 or 5 who has experience with Lego could do it easily. I decided to make this myself and it took under 15 minutes. I may break it apart again for the kids to do though! The price is a bit higher compared to a normal Lego set of this size /amount of bricks, but the collectible factor and displaying potential once they're made makes up for that. It is a really nice range and I'm interested to see what else Lego brings out as "brickheadz"

This Lego Batman Brick Headz, is something a little different for slightly older Lego fans. The packaging says 10+ but my ten year old found it a very straightforward build. Perhaps the 10+ guideline refers to the fact that this is more of a collectable, display character rather than a traditional Lego play set. My son put it together quickly in about 20 minutes to half an hour, making only a small slip-up with the cape which I needed to help him with. When complete it stands about 9cm tall and is quite a solid little thing. My son really liked him and stood him immediately on the shelf at the end of his bed with some of his other Lego sets. He has glow in the dark eyes, which look pretty cool.Lego Batman Brick Headz is number 1 in a series that also includes characters like The Joker, Batgirl and Robin. The current £8-£10 price makes him an attractive birthday-party present.

A nice little collectible for any DC Comics fan. It's an easy to assemble Barman figurine with glow in the dark eyes!It comes with a little stand to secure the figurine in the upright position and it looks pretty good on the shelves next to the other Brickheadz.Makes a nice gift for any occasion :)YT/FB - PuzzleMeAJigsaw

As described the box was damaged so no surprises, the box was effectively unopened so the contents were perfect no pieces missing, was pleased as this is a discontinued set and Was tremendous value, not ideal if you keep things boxed but perfect for those who like to build and display.

Boyfriend loved it.The eyes do glow in the dark and it isn't a distracting glow if you are trying to sleep (he keeps Batman in his bedroom). A cute little figure. He is probably just under 3 Inches in height due to the top of his head.

The kids love these, we got Iron Man and Batman and The Beast - They come with quite a lot of instructions in picture form, but the kids didn't really need them. Batman's eyes glow in the dark which looks great and the kids love it 4/5

This is a cute little Lego set for young children. My 7 year old built it all by herself and loves that the eyes glow in the dark. An excellent set for 5+ year olds.
