Having completed a build of the 'Brick Headz' (I keep forgetting that's a 'z' instead of 's') build of Batman, yesterday; 'Number 4' in the series has got to be the next logical step. Not only does 'Joker' make a great build, but it's a natural pairing with the 'Batman' ( Brick Headz 'Number 1')The colours are vibrant, just the way you'd expect of Lego, with the hair and suit spot on.It's probably worth noting, if you haven't picked up already, that this is a tie-in with the Lego Batman Movie (but I actually think this is a match, for even the best 'F<cough>ko' take on the subject).Having just built Batman, the build is pretty straightforward (the 10+ age recommendation is entirely appropriate,as the shapes / bricks are working with smaller pieces). The brick count is actually higher than I expected, for such a small / neat little build.I do particularly like the way the 'hair' is constructed, but I do wish they'd included one or two more pieces, just to give a bit more interest to the hands (perhaps the Lego 'Dynamite' would have just finished it off?), but that's me just wanting to add a little more humour, and this 'buddies up' well, when stood next to Batman.I know that some have mentioned the price, but I actually think that it represents pretty fair value. At least, being Lego, it can be torn down and modified. I love it, and look forward to trying some more (this could get expensive!?)

One of the Lego Brickheadz series, which allows you to build lego versions of certain fictional characters. This is one of a set of four of them based on the recent 'The Lego Batman Movie'. This one is of the Joker. Who is not Batman's arch enemy. This isn't quite as big as it looks from the picture, the actual dimensions of the figure being 9.1 x 7.8 x 12.2 cm.The cardboard box in which it comes is sealed rather tight, and I did have to make a very slight tear to the top side in order to open it.Inside you get various lego pieces, packed together into no discernible order. And an instruction manual, on how to build the figure. The manual uses no words, just pictures. And yet building is something you quickly get the hang of it. It takes a while, as there are forty two stages to it, but it quickly becomes an interesting and fun challenge. And finding the right block is quick as well.It took me about twenty five minutes to finish. This is recommended for ages ten and up, so it's not really a toy, more of a challenge. But as mentioned, it's a good one.I did have a small handful of bricks left over at the end, but I recall you usually did with lego. So, more for the collectors than the very young, and I don't quite care for the look - although it is growing on me - , but it's a satisfying thing to do. And it does look eye catching on a shelf.

Okay, let's the get the elephant in the room dealt with first... Many people are going to compare these to those 'F-word' plastic figures. Yup, I did exactly the same thing, as these are around about the same size (and you might even see them around about the same price); but I'm now totally swayed by the Lego take. Why? Well, not only is it a great, and interesting, little build; but there's plenty of neat little touches, that may not come across well in any photographs. I do entirely subscribe to the 'less is more', and there's more than enough interesting shapes and colour (okay, dominated by 'black') to easily pick this out as Batman.I really liked the little details, like the 'hands',and especially the 'glow in the dark' eyes. It's these little details that always sets Lego apart. The brick count isn't overly generous, but I kept reminding myself that 'this is Lego', and I can always tear it down, play around with it or, even better, modify the set to add in more details (not something that can be said for the alternatives!)When compared to its peers, this is a great little build, and probably the most natural starting point (as well as being marked as 'Set No. 1') for anyone wanting to try the BrickHead series.I love it, and now can't wait to get my hands on another.

Lego Brickheadz are a range of Lego figures that recreate tv and movie characters in the lego style, with square brick heads. This is one of a series of four figures based on the recent 'Lego Batman movie' which does characters from that. In this case Batman's new sidekick, orphan turned costumed crimefighter Robin. This is not a toy. There's no articulation in it, so it's just a figure to pose. And there are a fair few small bricks, so this is only suitable for those aged ten and up.The lid of the box in which it comes doesn't open easily and needs to be snipped. Inside are all the bricks in two bags, which are clear plastic and can't be re-sealed. And an instruction booklet on how to put it together. The booklet is just pictorial, with no words. But you pick up what to do easily enough. A couple of the stages of the building are a little involved, but the rest is easy, and it took me around twenty minutes to get this done. The look of this range is an acquired taste, although this one does actually work pretty well at getting the look of the character right. That, the price and that it's not a toy do mean it's not quite a four star product. But it's fun to build, and does look good on a shelf.

Brick Headz are a series of Lego figures which allow you to build models of various famous fictional characters using lego. With something of a square head. This is one of four of them based on the recent 'The Lego Batman movie.' In this case it's the Dark Knight himself. That vigilante hardcore rapping machine who is definitely not Bruce Wayne really. The box contains lots of lego bricks, in two plastic bags. The box doesn't come open easily and I did have to tear the flap to do that. And the bags are not resealable. There is an instruction booklet which shows you how to build the figure. In twenty five stages, using no words just pictures. This is very easy to follow. And to find the right bricks. And in just over twenty minutes, I had built Batman. Which was fun. This is not a toy, as there are no points of articulation. It is recommended for those aged ten and over, and does contain lots of small pieces so isn't good for the younger ones. The design of the figure is one that grows on you. The absence of a mouth doesn't quite work, but the little batarangs are great. It does look great on a shelf also. So for the Bat fan with the money to splurge, it's great fun to build and have.

I'm not too sure what to make of the Brickheadz series of LEGO toys. With characters from the Marvel, DC and Disney worlds, there's a good selection of 12 figures to choose from, and I can imagine if the series takes off, there will be more figures added to the series. The figure itself is fairly simple, and quick & fun to build. Once built, the figure is fairly sturdy and can be knocked over without bits falling off everywhere. My Robin measures a little over 9cm high, taller than the product description declares. It's hard to describe the appeal of the figure: It doesn't do anything, and it is far from being an accurate model of Robin, but there's a quirky charm about it that means I can't help but like it.I can see some people wondering what on earth all the fuss is about over these weird, cuboid figures, with others finding them irresistibly appealing. It seems to me a figure from this series would be a great stocking-filler this Christmas.

I love building Lego and these Brick headz are a fun little build which are good a ornaments when finished! This Joker one is definitely the longest to build and has more pieces because of his hair, for a brick head its nicely detailed with his green hair, purple suit, red mouth you can tell who its meant to be when Finished! No stickers so its just a straight forward build! One thing I don't like about these is that every one has a number plate for the base and they all say 1 I thought they could of maybe give each one a number in chronological order!I think £10 each is a little steep but when you see the 2 for £15 its definitely more worthy price tag as theres not alot of Lego in some comparedto others and it really doesn't take long to build at all!4 stars for the value of money but good ornaments for the fireplace or a shelf!

Lego Brickheadz are for ages 10+ and come with bags of bricks (in this case two), a plate for them to stand on and an instruction booklet. Robin is one of a series of figures which include Batman, the Joker and Batgirl. My ten year old daughter enjoyed putting this together and the Brick Headz can either act as ornaments, or, better yet, as toys. The detail is good, with Robin looking very cute in his eye mask.I really like these little Lego sets. They would make ideal stocking, or party bag, fillers and have great play value. I have since purchased more of the figures as they are such fun. There are lots of different figures in the range too, which will appeal to both boys and girls.

Lego brickheadz- Robin.::::::::::::::The brickheadz range is a new and very different style of Lego model, formed in the style of "mine craft" simplicity, but very cool.Robin was a fun build, taking us just over 45 mins to build from start to finished model. The end result is one of the more detailed and attractive models in this range. The detailed bricks are printed rather than stickers which makes a big difference to the look of the finished piece, things are all the smarter and better for this. The fun is in the build as the end result is more ornament than toy, and this is part of a collectible set which includes all the batman main characters.

Lego is an amazing thing in that it keeps reinventing itself and is timeless! My son absolutely adores Lego and my ounge looks like a satelite branch of Lego HQ! What I like about this product is that once it is built it can stay that way and become and nice model that can be put on a shelf to brighten up a room. Obviously that is not what the kids want to do and it will be broken into pieces and enter the trys with all of the others! But I like it! Fab gift idea - highly recommend

This would make the ideal stocking filler for a Lego Batman fan. The set is very easy to assemble, leaving me to question the 10+ age classification.A child of 6-7 could put this together no problem at all, and there are very few little pieces. My only minor criticism is that the £9.99 price tag is perhaps a little too high, but this is likely because these sets are ver collectible - kids will want to collect the whole series.

As soon as I received this parcel I immediately sat down to build it. The box states that it's aimed at 10+, but my son isn't fan of Lego (much to my chagrin.)I guess that it took 20 minutes or so to construct, but it was huge fun. The completed result looked great. I notice that this is one of four collectables in the Batman collection. The price was spot on too. A great gift.

This range from Lego now has quite a few different characters, and retailing at around £7 each collecting them all will set you back a few bob. Each Brick Headz character is a lot smaller than the pictures here would have you believe; only a few inches tall in real life. Don't let that put you off though, if you like the characters they depict, you won't be disappointed.

This is superb. The best way to think of these are like Lego versions of Funko Pops!Funko's are popular collectors items for big and small kids and these are superb as they are lego so there is some building involved but once done look great on your desk or your kids' shelf etc. It's aimed at 10+ but it's fairly straight forward to assemble.Really happy with this.
