Lego must be one of the most, if not the most, well known and loved toy on the planet though not sure it can be classified as just a toy. Reviews really are superfluous as Lego is what it is and everyone loves it. My two granddaughters have masses of the stuff and sit and spend hours together creating villages, building houses etc (I do recommend the big bases for this) and though they have shed loads of other toys they always come back to Lego. I can quite often sit down with a coffee and watch the play secure in the knowledge that I have a quiet hour ahead of me.I do have a slight issue with Lego slanting different sets towards gender and this is one that is clearly for the girls.

You can't really go wrong with lego. If you have a child who enjoys lego then it never fils but there are some children who have very little interest. Of my five grandchildren, two love it while the others are not bothered. Luckily the five-year-old who does like it is not bothered by having pink lego ( why do they feel the need to 'pink up' some sets for girls? ). I wouldn't give it to him as a gift but he is more than happy to build this set with me at our house and play with the finished set with his ten-year-old sister who is not interested in lego at all.This set has a lot of small pieces and did require some adult help but he loved making it and likes a challenge.

It's amazing what Lego toys you can get nowadays! This creative and imaginative play-set gives the satisfaction of putting it together and then the fun of playing with it afterwards. Our grand-daughter is only 4 years old, and the recommended age for this one is 6 plus. However, with adult help to build the play kitchen, hours of fun can be had by little ones. Creative play at its best, the little figures included in the playset, Lillie, David and Stephanie, make and bake to their hearts' content and then the best one wins a prize, the golden cup. Most children love Lego and with so many playsets around it's important to keep them all together and not mixed up,

Oh this is great fun. My six year old granddaughter and myself have had a lovely few hours putting this together. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow.The three sections is divided into three bags so it’s easy to put them together.I was very surprised and my granddaughter was delighted to see the detail of everything. All the equipment etc looks realistic.She had a great time pretending to be in a baking competition with this set. The accessories kept her occupied for ages as she changed the cakes around and let her imagination run wild.Great value for money as well.

This set is so much fun with the idea behind it, you spin the wheel and it determines what the contestents will be baking for the show. It's such a unique set idea with the reality television/game show theme and I crave more sets like it. You get so many great pieces in here too, lots of food and product boxes and there's amazing new frosting pieces so you can make giant cakes. The stickers are tricky to line up on the wheel, but the pros far outweigh that single con. Even if you don't play with this, the pieces are amazing for making your own stuff.

Our soon to be twelve year old granddaughter still loves her Lego Friends sets. She has a few gathered over the years for birthdays and Christmas and they are the fall back go to for rainy days and holidays. This set is very much a favourite as she is a fan of baking shows and baking. The set has so many elements that move, so many accessories that enhance the role playing element plus the three mini figures to position that I can see this set being a firm favourite for a long time.

A lovely Lego set perfect as a birthday gift, its very easy to assemble and age appropriate in fact easy enough for a child a little younger with appropriate supervision. This is rather lovely and there are lots of little bits of decoration and activities that can be done once the set is complete. A lovely set very happy with it.

Bought for my daughters birthday as she loves Lego. She built it quickly with a friend and has had hours of fun playing with it. Like all Lego, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only complaint is the use of plastic bags to separate the bricks - surely this could be done with compostable bags or paper bags now?

What a lovely and adorable set of lego. It has many components and kept my daughter busy for the last while.Wonderfully detailed, just like popular baking competitions on TV.My daughter loves it. Great for redesigning and using with other lego pieces.

My daughter loves it, she's 9 years old. I can't say it's value for money as the original Lego are expensive, but she makes good use of them and spends hours on end making her little stories ?

My daughter loves it. It’s a very good bargain and keeps her busy as it’s got too many Legos. You can use it for different concept. And it looks beautiful in ends. Lots of variety indeed!

Bought this as a gift for my 7 year old niece she loves playing and building and enjoyed this set very much. My 2 nieces 7 and 9 can play with this alongside each other for hours.

My 7 year old received this excellent set for her birthday and loves it. We have been recreating many scenes from GBBO. Great detail and value for money.

Lovely set that enables daughter to recreate The Great British Bake Off. Encourages creativity and imagination. Bought on a deal so good value for money.
