This machine, which is often the model available for hire, is arranged like a cylinder vacuum cleaner with a body on castors and a hose and wand/nozzle. It works by spraying a wide fine jet of water and detergent from a tank on the body via a nozzle into the carpet fibres and then immediately extracting the water and dissolved dirt by powerful vacuum to a separate dirty tank. Once the clean water/detergent is used up, the dirty tank is then detached and emptied down the loo (rather than the sink which can become blocked by the many fascinating things that will accumulate). A smaller more intense nozzle is used on stairs and hard to get at places as well as where an extra deep clean is required.

I bought this cleaner because I was desperate! We have always owned a dog but after our last one died about four years ago, I thought we could finally get a light coloured carpet that would not be ruined. So I went ahead and bought another beige carpet for the living room. Alas, about a year later we got another dog and then a couple of months ago we got another. The latest one is the dirtiest dog you could ever wish to meet - a chocolate labrador that is the size of a lion and loves dirt and dirty pudddles but even loves bringing dirt into the house even more than leaving it outside. Hence my desperation. Well this carpet cleaner has been a life saver.

Bought Puzzi 100 in the box £343 delivered from Trafalgar Cleaning Services who are an Ebay seller,included next day delivery through Interlink Express. I have since cleaned every carpet in the house ,what a difference!Researched all over as i had often hired a clone version from hire companies ,this one came with support handle,20 soluble tablets.spot cleaner and valeting tool!Very easy to use,have bought 25 ltr drum of shampoo currently 50% off from Earlybird Services also on Ebay and that was delivered overnight !Thoroughly recommend this cleaner,the next one up is the Puzzi 200 but thats around £650 and you really shouldn't need that one ,this ones fine!

The Puzzi may be more expensive than other models available however it could prove to be better value than cheaper cleaners in the long run. We bought a £90 very well known cleaner from a very well known DIY outlet only to have it steadily fall to pieces over a twelve month period. The Puzzi will only have to last three years for it to have been better value. We have got some of our money back by hiring it out on a few occasions.This machine is well made, cleans very well (better than hiring a GP to do the cleaning if you know what I mean,and is relatively quiet.

This cleaner costs no more than two full professional cleans, and does an equally good (or even better) job. The benefit is that you can use it any time without further cost (except for cleaner tablets). I found it easy to use, and it does not seem to require too much downward pressure to do the job. Having recently acquired a second puppy, we will be making use of it again soon, once she is fully house trained.

The results from its use were as good as i had hoped. The large volume of liquid it holds makes it much faster to clean a whole room than a smaller, domestic cleaner.It is astounding how much dirt is cleaned from an apparently unsoiled carpet.It is fairly bulky to store of course, and heavier to take upstairs.Certainly cheaper than replacing carpets!

brilliant machine, I used to hire one the same but with a dog in the house decided to invest in my own . its excellent and leaves carpets almost dry. Its an expensive outlay to start with but well worth it. I ordered on Monday and it was delivered Wednesday even on normal delivery rate. Cant praise enough.

fantastic carpet cleaner. Easy to use but physically demanding when cleaning large areas or tough stains. Must use with the tablets to get cleanest results. Everyone noticed the cleaner carpets and noted the dog smell was no more so perfect!

Simply superb! Easy to use and certainly worthy of it's commercial grading!! This little gem has produced (along with the karcher soap powder) some outstanding results! Steal at the price!

This is the same model as hire shops - and if you do a lot of carpet cleaning it will repay the cost of a weekend/week hire very quickly. It is very easy to use.

appart from being bulky it is an excellent machine. Really cleans the carpet and makes it look like a really new one.
