I have to agree with Jonathan F on this. The lance thread and the adapter thread look the same, but for some reason it just doesn’t seem to connect sometimes for no apparent reason, then suddenly it will just locate and twist on in a couple of turns. Lance always goes on to the gun no problem at all. I thought my adapter had a dodgy thread, but it seems it is a repeating issue.

Whilst the hose to my lance trigger is an easy fit, this adapter on my snow foam is a pig to connect, its taken unto 20mins of trying and retrying..... might be a one off dodgy adapter, but it's a right royal pain.

Took ages to get to fit the first time, after that I couldn’t get it to fit so modified it. I wouldn’t recommend.
