I chose Lenovo's Ideapad Y700 laptop 4 years ago over the its competitors mostly because of its built-in JBL speaker system (2 x 2W speakers + a 3W downfiring subwoofer). It sounds awesome for a laptop (Dolby Audio off for music, and Movie mode for movies). The only caveat is that its volume is limited. So I decided to buy a GO 2 based on my already-good experience with JBL.I don't regret it. For its price, it has more-than-acceptable sound quality and volume. It's louder than my laptop and can easily fill a small-to-average room. There are other options in the market that have managed to sound better while keeping the small form factor, but they are understandably more expensive.

I work in a kitchen which has a noisy hood vent running all the time. One of my co-workers (buddies) has a JBL Spark 4 and thankfully great taste in music. Well his JBL REALLY impressed me with the sound quality and power. The thing is we work different shifts so we might be there at the same time for a few hours on any given day. We also work every other weekend on opposite weekend's. In his absence I was getting by with my phone in my top pocket, not great but it's something. Well football season came along and I can stream games but making out the play by play was tough. I decided to check out the JBL website myself and see if they had something a bit more compact that would suit my needs.

I bought this item a week ago and have taken it on holiday to pair with my Sony phone and Youtube Music - the sound is great for such a small size. The unit has a nice quality feel to it and also a nice weight which makes it feel solid and the finish backs that up too. Low frequency response is good for such a small package - personal speakers have come a long way. Of course it's not going shake the house to pieces but the volume and sound quality are good. Connects easily and am currently connected to the speaker with my works laptop which has B&O speakers but they are pretty poor. My only improvements would be the ability to skip tracks from controls on the speaker,

I bought from the on-line market with low expectation as it is just small. Usually a small and mono speaker does not provide quality sound. But the first impression when I took it was heavier than other small, cheap speakers, which means has better speaker. Surface of Go 2 is soft and feel like covered by rubber.And when I turned, it was very easy to link my Samsung Note 9 and I got surprised the quality of sound. I know that it does not have that high level of quality sound but relatively, it was superb. The separation of bass and highs is good and when the PMPO of bass goes over its capability, it automatically reduces the volume.One thing that I want is that I want to play with two for stereo but I have not found any way to do it.Overall,

I am by no means an expert, but I know what my ears hear and at which levels. Also have a JBL Flip 4 and I got the GO 2 because I wanted something even smaller.I got my GO 2 in the mail today and have been using it for the last few hours. It's a great little speaker for its size and price, following the lines of its predecessor. It's not going to blow you across the room, and that's okay — it's not physically possible for it to do so. It's better than a phone speaker, and that's good enough. Vocals sound fantastic on this thing, making it great for nighttime listening and podcasts, too. The previous GO had some kind of bass port; I believe JBL managed to fit a passive radiator in this one (I could be wrong!)

I bought this couple days ago and i cant find single bad thing about it,its tiny yet it sound petty amazing in fact light year better than any speaker its size.Music is crystal clear it have bass ( yes it really have it lol), it is pricey of course considering its tiny size and i was thinking does it worh (40€ here in Serbia) but as soon as i heard it i had to have it there is no speaker its size that can get even close to its music quality.Also battery is great it does runs 5 hours if you olay it on max volume but if you just chilaxing and listening on 30-50% it can easily play 7 hours.Only thing i miss on this unit is battery percentage,

I bought this a week ago and have been using it nonstop. It's wonderful and so portable. I wouldn't say it fits in my pocket, but then girls' pockets are small. The battery has been holding up great, though I do charge it at night to make sure. There's a 1-year warranty on parts and replacement, too. The chassis looks so much like it's made of metal, yet it's clearly some sort of rubbery plastic, which is really much more suitable for being waterproof or being dropped. I approve. This device works with my Android phone, my boyfriend's Apple phone, and with my Windows laptop. It's very easy to connect with (no password) and such a pleasure to use.

I have had the GO for a couple years now and love it. I handed it down to my wife and I got the GO 2. I'm not a huge music guy and I am tone def so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The GO 2 looks so much more stylish, seems to have a little better sound and louder than the GO. I was very hesitant to put the GO 2 in the bath tub, however I did and had no problems. The only thing missing on the GO 2 is a lanyard attachment, I found that very useful on my GO. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the sound for the size and inexpensive.

I have two of these plus two of the original JBL GO speakers. They are super useful in small spaces and where a plug-in speaker would not convenient. Battery life is good. I use them in the bathroom when showering and shaving. I keep the second one charged and ready when the other's battery needs recharging. Aesthetically, the JBL GO is pleasing with its wide color choices, contours, and a cover that is comfortable to the touch. This is a great choice when space is a concern and a power cord is undesirable.

I bought this JBL GO 2 speaker about a week ago. I was skeptical at first, had trouble with the instructions. After calling your service #, I was able to be guided in the setup by Chris. After that, it was easy. I am deaf in one ear and only 60% hearing in the other, so I have great difficulty in understanding all of the conversation on our Zoom meetings. Now, I can hear everything clearly and I'm able to respond when my friends speak to me. This is an awesome product! Thank you so much !

This is a great speaker. I wanted it to listen to my morning podcast while I shower and it's perfect for that. I wouldn't recommend doing that if your restroom gets humid as I don't know if it'll hold up over time in a humid environment. But I keep it just outside the bathroom to avoid the humidity and thus needed the speaker to be plenty loud, which it is. If I'm nitpicking, the one minor downside is the bass is just okay. Not a problem for me, but I could see someone being disappointed.

Grateful Dead performed in front of a 20 foot high wall of JBL speakers, in the '70s. I wonder how a stack of these would cope? It is easy to set up, fits in the palm of a hand and sounds good for background music (plus it has a speaker phone option). Not as hi-fi as a...hi-fi, or as clean and clear as good quality stereo headphones, but if you need something for a quick sound setup, especially to play something from your phone or laptop to a small group of people, this is really good.

I bought this for my trip to Moscow. This is the best portable bluetooth speaker! Perfect for hotel rooms - anything louder would probably get a complaint from the hotel staff. I use it daily at home when watching YouTube videos on my laptop. I love it so much that I bought a second one! JBL says it only gives you five hours of playtime. But I use mine at about 60% volume and i get over ten hours of playtime before I need to charge it again. A definite must have when you're traveling!

I just got mine in the mail and immediately tested it! Audio is super clear, bass is perfect AND it’s loud enough for an apt. where you have roommates who don’t need to hear your entire playlist, but also low enough to be able to hear whatever’s playing when the volume isn’t even 1/2 to max volume. Be clear, This is not a house party speaker but is a Great lil speaker! It is a tad bit smaller than I thought it would be but still super cute, perfume and works well!

I received this item today and I am more than impressed with the quality. The sound is crystal clear and the bass is not tinny in the slightest which I was expecting a little bit with how compact the speaker is. The speaker also reaches a volume more than descent enough. Not just impressed I am amazed I couldn't recommend enough for quality and price. So if you are reading the reviews pondering whether to purchase just do it you will not be dissapointed.
