Had been thinking about an Amazon Echo for a good few weeks as my partner and Mum both have one but wasn't sure if I'd use it that much! How wrong was I?? These ARE brilliant!! Looks the part and has great sound quality! Setup is fairly easy via the Alexa website and you don't necessarily need a smartphone or tablet to get it going. A standard computer will do!The Alexa assistant does a whole host of things and new skills you can turn on are being added all the time! HIGHLY recommended!

I’ve been meaning to get one of these since my dad got one for Christmas. The sound quality on this is amazing, even when it’s loud there is no distortion of the sound. Amazons music service is cheep to subscribe to. Not only that, you can listen to Music through it, from Your phone, iPod etc, ask it questions, set timers and reminders and play quizzes! Buy two and you can link them together via WiFi to create a stereo sound system. They take up very little space! Very easy to set up and use.

I was given an Amazon Dot for a Christmas present which I thought was good however the sound could have been better - the Amazon Echo is in a different league. The Alexa software is very comprehensive however there are no instructions supplied with the Echo so its down to the buyer to explore. If like me you are fan of older music, you will love the Echo. No doubt there is an "Echo for Dummies" in the book shops but its easier to find out for yourself what's available - my Grandchildren have.

Excellent stand-alone smart speaker but not too impressed with sound quality so listen before buying. Having decided I like smart speakers I wanted to replace my micro hi-fi so bought an Echo Studio thinking it would make a stereo pair with the Echo I'd already got. No it doesn't and if I'd checked it out properly I'd have found it under Connectivity Q&A's in the Amazon Help areas. However, I put them in a "Group" which I can play simultaneously in "double mono" and it's still impressive.

In the same place as Gen 1 but this one overheats and just stops. Signal constantly drops out as well. I had none of these issues with Gen1 Alexa so not over impressed at the moment. The one good thing is linking in two devices for stereo sounds. Remeber to change names of each device otherwise the wrong one will turn on if doors are open and they are in close proximity of each other.Superb discounted price from Argos which I hope was is not linked to the poor performance of this 3rd Gen.

Amazon Echo 3rd generation is pretty good although you really need to subscribe to Amazon Prime to benefit from a lot of the features, many music titles are not accessable in the basic mode. One feature it boasts in the marketing blurb is the ability of "Alexa" to read your emails to you, regrettably this particular feature isn't available on the UK App it seems it will only work in the USA & Canada. I tend to use it both as an alarm clock and to listen to the radio, for which it is great.

This Alexa is just the right size to place discreetly in any room in my house.it was easy to set up, and the speakers are very clear. When I switch it on, it’s up and running within a split second. It play’s all my favourite music, so no longer a need for my CD player and CDs. Alexa is a wealth of knowledge, can give answers to so many questions, and give the correct pronunciation for foreign languages, she can even tell you jokes and so much more. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

I bought this Alexa for my daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. It was easy to set up and get working for her, and the sound quality is excellent. The only negative I have is the issue with connecting to my music streaming choice, Deezer. Alexa will play my "Flow" with no problems, but it won't play any of the playlists. Alexa says it's an issue with my Deezer subscription, but I'm not the only person having this issue!! Other than this, I cannot fault Alexa.

My husband got me to buy the amazon echo, I thought not another gadget! I have to say I think it’s brilliant to say the least. If you know the features that it has it’s great. But to be able to ask Alexa to turn the heating on/off up/down as well as turning lights etc on and off as well as a range of other things is brilliant. I can say buy this product especially if you have limited ability as it’s a great help. It’s not just for the young but also the young at heart!

I’ve always been a bit apprehensive about these smart speakers. However took the plunge for a birthday gift for the wife and all I can say is WOW. We both love it! Straight away it replaced the ageing DAB radio in the kitchen. Setup was easy, followed by the very impressive sound quality.I dropped it a point because it doesn’t have an internal battery so needs to be plugged in to to use.Anyway looking forward to doing much more with the device in the near future.

6th Alexa device. Everything just works seamlessly. Easy to link to all your other Alexa devices. Sound quality is brillaint. I have an Amazon Show (2nd gen) and it knocks the socks off it. You don't need the Echo Pro unless you want to use it as a hub - Echo Show has a hub built in if you already have one. Regardless of the Alexa features it's such a high quality speaker it's good to just Bluetooth to.I've got a Bose 30 speaker - this is just as good.

Me and my fiancé have been wanting to get one forever! I had to buy one and for the most part I’m impressed. Its everything I wanted it to be. The quality of the speaker is great and it goes super loud which I love!The only issue I have it playing music sometimes. Sometimes it cant find an artist on Apple Music like blink 182 but finds them on Spotify, Or thinks an artist is a play list, like easy life. Apart from that it’s my purchase of the year

I bought 2 of these Echo 3rd gen speakers as an addition to my Firestick to create a fantastic cinema sound setup and greatly improve what my TV alone is able to offer.The 3rd gen is a huge improvement in sound over the 2nd gen speaker I had before these with plenty of base and volume if needed.Alexa response is even better than last gen too , you can barely whisper and Alexa will pick up the commands and even whispers back. Great for late at night.

Powerful wholesome sound. Fantastic smart speaker that provided high quality music and plenty of volume. My Echo is set up in my kitchen so I can forget the world and enjoy cooking to music. Also the Alexa feature and app is perfect for making shopping lists! My trip to the supermarket has been made easy just by telling Alexa to add an item to my shopping list every time I finish something from my fridge/pantry.Would 100% recommend!
