Ive just bought this a couple of weeks ago and have found it does what i wanted in the bedroom, ie :- clock, alarm clock and other things as well as it has the screen, which i must say is crystal clear, the sound is really good and connected to my wifi with ease, i do like that you can snooze the alarm by touching the top of it without pressing buttons. And you can close the shutter on the camera for added privacy without having to disable the microphones. And of course it does what all the other echo’s do and Alexa works well with no complications.

Surprisingly this has great sound, more punchier More Bass compared to the Echo Dot. Have it in the kitchen, great for recipes, loads to pick from, has the added benefit of being oncreen, it speaks out the recipe instructions, When it plays songs, it shows the lyrics of the songs too.Found it hard to connect, as already have 5 echo dots in our home. Had to phone CS, who explained it doesnt setup through app, but you use the screen to. Great addition to our multiroom setup.Would Recommend

One thing I was looking for was to be able to turn lights on, without saying ALEXA when I wanted to get out of bed in the middle of the night. It works perfectly as I no longer disturb my partner. The other thing ease of setting alarms and snoozing with a light tap. Setting reminders and knowing the weather. It’s a great device and I highly recommend. I thought it may be too small but it’s perfect, it also goes into night mode automatically so the screen doesn’t glare all night long very happy.

Am an avid user of echo products. This was purchased for my brother as a xmas present and was the first version ive purchased and used with a screen. Set up easy and was pleased with sound quality&display for the size of device and £££. Good compact size to use as a clock for bedroom tho I think my bro is going to keep on kitchen worktop/ breakfast bar at his place. He was very pleased with his gift and his OH is apparently eyeing up one for herself. Will be purchasing myself one at some point.

Very straight forward to set up.Once set up, I used for amazon music, weather updatesHilarious Alexa jokes. All jokes were said in the same tone which made them even funnier. I was laughing all over tbe floor in hysterics. The product was a good friend to me during lockdown. Made life more bearable. Got lyrics on tbe screen for all your fave songs. Play games like pointless. I'm more knowledgeable now.Can ask it anything and always got an answerBest product I've bought in a long while.

I bought this for my mother and I picked the screen as the interface is easier. She loves it! She can read song lyrics, take a bit more time to read information etc. The speakers are perfect for the device itself, but if you want outstanding quality, there is an option to buy speakers and plug them into the device. All in all I would give this product a 5/5 for what it is designed for. Also, watch for deals on these products, Amazon will drop the prices, but Argos keeps up with those changes.

I wasn't sure how much use this would be in my bedroom as I already had an echo device in there but I'm really glad I bought one now. The device is designed really well and the screen is clear and bright. It connects to your home network effortlessly and had lots of different options and customizations available to you for clock faces and information to be shown. If I had to have one criticism it would be that the sound isn't as good as my echo but to be honest I didn't expect it to be.

For my less than average knowledge about gadgets I find it helpful and easy to use .Helpful information on the screen with suggestions about some topics. How to - which is my favourite so far. Very much enjoying my audiobooks on audible and YouTube which is one of the reasons I got a device. As a device - not a big gadget fan but on the flip side of the coin if I am going to get something i would go for something better than average, so have said that I would give a device 7/10

The reason I bought this was because my mum doesn’t have a laptop or an iPhone and in lockdown I had concerns she would struggle not seeing people’s faces. It was super easy to set up, she of course had to set it up on her own and did so fine. We’ve had long conversations on here 3hrs+ once! Sound is good, makes a great speaker, when you ask Alexa to play music it displays the lyrics on the screen so we’re all singing along! It’s been really handy in the lockdown would highly recommend.

Love my show 5 worth the money while it was on offer I don’t think I would pay full price for it as it’s quite pricey but others wise it’s amazing would recommend to friends and did my friend went a brought the same one and he loves it to. The sound on this is unbelievable for just such a little thing and it’s so easy to set up you don’t even have to use the app you do it all on the echo as it’s touch screen. The screen is also very clear and good response when touching it

I got the white echo 5 on sale and I'm glad I did. I knew the newer model was out soon but for the price compared to the dot was a no brainer. The display and touch screen make the Echo so easy to use, everything is displayed on screen so you don't need to use a phone or tablet. The sound is really good but not so at high volumes. Its not like the old school hi fis that you could blast at full volume. For the price though (even at full price) I would recommend highly.

Having used this for the last two weeks it is such a great unit to have by the bedside. it acts as my clock/alarm clock as well as giving my all information like weather etc and showing me whose at the front door (with ring app) and controlling my lights.Its just the right size so as not to take up too much space and it has a good sound quality too. A great option where you want the echo show features but don't have the space and dont want to spend as much.

Got this last week for my nan so I can keep in touch with her on drop in video calls , as she as difficulties hearing on her telephone but this is brilliant , she loves it she can see and hear me clearly and I can see and hear her clearly on mine , this is an excellent way whilst we are on lockdown to keep an eye on her and she feels that she is seeing someone and not totally isolated, once set up she doesn’t need to touch anything , so nothing to confuse her

I really love using the echo. So many things you can do. I particularly like the video calling and messaging with other Alexa users, really easy to do. Also asking Alexa loads of questions, listening to the radio, getting updated news, playing music, setting up reminders, etc. I am not technical and I found this very easy to set up and use. Got it at a bargain price - 2 for our home and 1 for my son who, also loves it. Would, without hesitation recommend.

Hands down this is the best gift and perfectly timed for my 96 year old nan so she can stay connected with the family. Simple to set up and use and such a great help for those with mobility issues. My Nan struggles hearing on the phone and holding it but with this genius gadget she can video all her loved ones easily and chat for hours. It’s also connected to her lights so she can turn them on and off without struggling to move. She couldn’t be happier
