My Mum saw us using this and asked us to get her one since it produced such finely grated citrus peel. Indeed it is great, it grates like nothing we have used in the past, producing very fine gratings, without causing them to break up and stop the grater from working properly. Yes it is very sharp - watch your fingers when cleaning it or you will see how finely it can grate skin! It just needs to be treated with a bit of care, after all it is doing what it says it does - cutting tough things finely. Just make sure that it is always stored in its clear plastic wallet and it will stay sharp and nobody will get grated fingers.

An excellent grater for small quantities of cheese. Seller gave prompt delivery, well packaged and I would buy again from this seller.A word of warning about the grater. it is very very sharp and although it has a plastic protector for storage there is no protector when using it so you have to be really careful. I would advise not to let children anywhere near it and always put the plastic shield on for storage.

This grater was initially purchased to produce fine zest from limes/lemons etc. to be used in Thai cooking, but I have found not only is it excellent for this application, but also exceptionally good for grating any reasonably hard substance - cheese for pizza, carrots for coleslaw for example. Grating quinces to make quince jam was simplicity itself however BEWARE!! The grater is fearsomely sharp!!

These graters really are great! They are sharp and make quick work of everything from blocks of cheese and large carrots to ginger and garlic. Ergonomic grip makes grating action simple. Easy to clean - dishwasher safe too - and always sharp. All you need to remember is to watch your fingers! Robust items which quickly become a mainstay of the kitchen. Throw away your old graters now!!

I'm officially a loser. I LOVE THIS... I juice a lot and so have to vest a lot of fruit as the zest is indigestible with humans. I was permenantly seating my fingers and finger nails with my traditional zester. This gives a lovely fine zest without having to apply pressure and is soooo easy. The time that this bad boy will save me is amazing!

Got the product on time and well packed. The product itself is of good quality and is easy to handle/use. Not many graters are sharp enough to get that finely grated zest or ginger, but this one does it without a problem. It includes a safety cover to avoid any potential accidents. Great product and recommend it!

This grater is the best I have ever bought. It is very easy to use to fit over a bowl or pan so that there are no spills.It is also very easy to clean I was so pleased with it i have bought the course grater.

I've used a number of these microplanes over the years and they give a much finer product than a conventional grater, good kitchen tool but watch your knuckles on it as it's fiercely sharp.

I had been looking for some time for a fine hand grater, for hard cheese and chocolate, my daughter recommended this one, I am delighted as it does just what I wanted it to.

In love with this. I use this all the time. Use it for grating Ginger,Garlic,zesting. It does a great job and very sharp too.
