A wine glass needs a stem of some description - but not necessarily a finely drawn slender skyscraper, especially if, like me, you're very clumsy.I bought my first set of these glasses because I find I knock ordinary ones over - especially when I'm sober. These fitted the bill perfectly because they're not too tall, and they have a very low centre of gravity, allowing you to get away with a modest nudge without them toppling over.They are good quality, clear glass, and go a treat with red wine - and my wife likes to drink cola out of them. She says they're perfect for a large, cold coke.One thing to watch out for: there is a fault line where the stem joins the bowl. If you catch them on a hard surface,

I have had these Jamie glasses before and loved them so I ordered more. They came boxed up with tape all around the inner, commercial packaging. Once I cut the tape I realised why they had taped it up, it's because the commercial packaging is the most stupid thing, when you go to pick it up from the top of the packaging the glasses drop out. My wife smashed two of the glasses simply picking it up from the top of the packet so beware.The glasses themselves are lovely, well made and the perfect size for a glass of lager or cider. They are slightly on the large size for wine but if you like a large glass of wine, or you like plenty of space for your red wine to breath, then you'll love these.

I have bought many glasses in my time but none as great as these. When I purchases glasses I don't just simply buy cheap ones I like to buy quality only. I'm so impressed with these glasses! I have carpal tunnel so its not easy for me to hold glasses or anything really. But this has such a good grip and is easy to hold. You can use this for desserts also if you so choose. I would say to Jamie Oliver well done for branching out into this field this is a great product and I would recommend anyone to purchase it. If I had more room I would buy a second set. I may just do that and put it aside until I move to somewhere bigger :)

I have got 3 sets of these glasses and i must say they are a good all round glass, very sturdy and go through the dishwasher without any problems which is more than i can say for other glasses which have gone milky over time, my first set which is nearly 6 years old looks like brand new, so i ordered a set as part of a house warming gift and they were very well received, will just say that the packaging was beyond ruined on arrival, so i had to wrap them separately in tissues paper and put them in a gift bag, the price was excellent at £7 as they were on promotion that day, highly recommend this product.

Bought these on behalf of my father, whose words were something like "this is the best deal I can find on these glasses, you used to be able to buy them in tkmaxx for half the price. Can you buy them please and I'll send you the money" haha. When he opened them one instantly fell out of the packaging and broke. He said it was poorly wrapped and the bottom came from under it. He said they are great glasses regardless of the issue. My mother likes them too. Perfect shape and sturdiness she says.

We have had Jamie Oliver wine glasses for years and they are solid, don't break, fit in the dishwasher and are stylish. This is our third set (they do eventually go cloudy in the dishwasher but it takes a good couple of years). I hadn't realised they came in 2 different sizes so accidentally bought the larger 45cl ones, which are huge for wine - the 35cl ones are already generous!

The design of these glasses definitely enhances the flavour of red wine - you can small the wine as you drink it. Larger than I expected. Unfortunately two of the four glasses I ordered arrived smashed. The packaging did not indicate the contents was fragile. Amazon refunded for the broken glasses. I would buy again, but probably not on line.

We are forever breaking wine glasses so resist using our most expensive ones. We smash the cheap ones even more quickly and have failed to find a decent every day glass that is robust.This fits the bill. Economic and. Rey strurdy with a solid base and a good thickness the the glass.Excellent.

Love these glasses! Very stable because of solid base and stem , but still look classy especially with the logo discreetly etched into the stem. Size is deceptive... thry actually hold almost half a bottle of wine! The glasses come exceptionally well-packed and travel safely! Highly recommended.

Needed these to take on a staycation as often the glassware provided is cheap. Very good, if a little pricey. Dishwasher safe and can be used for a variety of drinks. Only drawback is the size of your hands, as they are larger than you think to pick up around the girth. A good all round glass.

This is our second set - had to top it up after breaking one from our previous one - we use them mostly for cold drinks as opposed to wine, perfect size for some ice and a can worth of fizzy drink. The package was delivered quickly as always and the glasses were packed very securely.

I have bought many sets of these glasses over the years. Functional and stylish if not a bit pricey.They say dishwasher safe but I have found they scratch and snap where the stem meets the bowl. That may be the fault of my dishwasher so I have decided to wash this set by hand.

Cracking glasses. I love that the stem is relatively short which makes them far less likely to be knocked over. They’re sturdy and stack really easily in the dishwasher. You could also use them due individual dessert stages like Eaton mess, trifle etc. I bought two packs.

Nice sturdy wine/beer glass. Beware as unfortunately the cardboard packaging which the four glasses are displayed in was broken which I wasn't aware until I took it out of the box and one glass fell out and smashed. So I only have three for the price of four.

Absolutely love these glasses. Really sturdy so won't be easy to knock over - unlike more slimline glasses. Definitely chunky yet still give the impression of being a classy wine glass. Good value for money. Arrived really well packaged. Great design Jamie!
