Brilliant hiking shoes...(far better than previous Scarpa shoes)....great stability and comfort..!!To address previous negative review comments...1.yes the sole is quite rigid, but if you’re walking off track rough mountain terrains/forest tracks/shoreline etc, the rigidity is essential, (if you’re walking pavements, maybe not)...2.waterproofness..have So far walked in heavy rain, and through wet grass...absolutely waterproof....and 3....those “stupid round laces that won’t stayed tied”.....well, just tie a double bow...no issue...!!They are a tad heavy, but for rugged use, that’s essential..!!Very happy with expected usage,

Excellent shoe for wet urban days or proper hiking days. Sturdy platform for walking and looks good in Jean's or hiking pants. Very happy.
