A well made flask that performs the desired function (of keeping the contents hot) very well.In common with most steel flasks nowadays, the inner chamber is also steel so will absorb a certain of heat from the contents as they are poured in, so I always fill the flask with hot water for a minute before emptying and pouring in the coffee.If there is anything left in the flask at the end of the day, it is still piping hot.The push-button pouring function built into the top means you don't have to unscrew it in order to dispense the contents, and this no doubt helps to prevent heat loss.The push-button mechanism itself screws apart for easy cleaning.All in all I can find no reason to deduct any stars,

Arrived two days later and after the day I purchased this for - was away hill walking on the Saturday and arrive on the Sunday instead of the planned date on the Friday; however, I filled this with boiling water to test how good it was. Filled this at 12:30 and the water was still boiling at 21:00 and at 07:30 in the morning it was still extremely warm.- to warm to leave you finger in the water for any more than a few seconds.

Have just used it over two days so far so hard to comment on long term reliability. However, so far I am hugely impressed with its ability to keep water for tea making hot for 12 hours. Seems to be well put together too.Update, still hugely impressed. 17 April 2016.

Had this since June in that time two proper Thermos flasks and on Stanley flask has failed me. This just keeps on trucking, well worth the money. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Best iv'e ever had.The lid system (push tab to open and again push to close) is the best ever and so easy to use.Keeps water hot (even over night) buy one you will not regret it

It’s brilliant. Fits great in my Stanley lunchbox. Sturdy, keeps my coffee hot all day. Pleased with it
