The jug looks great and is fit for what I bought it for: essentially to keep one jug of coffee warm while I brew another when we have visitors over. It holds a full jug-worth of coffee from my Delonghi coffee maker with space for extra (the coffee machine makes ten cups), and keeps it warm for at least two hours (which is the longest I have tested it for so far). As some buyers have mentioned, the lid does not sit flush to the top of the jug, there is a slight gap through which heat will escape, which is why I've given it four stars. But so far I have used a tea towel to keep the heat in, and might buy a cosy, but the reality is that there is hardly ever going to be a time when I need to keep coffee warm for more than two hours.
