Really useful bit of equipment if your out and about for the day or need that extra time using the camera, saves changing the battery over. Batteries last well although these are not included with the item. Also has the feature of being able to use AA batteries in case of an emergency. Quite comfortable to hold but has made my Canon 7D a lot heavier. I only use this if required in certain circumstances. I still haven't got round to using the remote so I cannot comment on this function. The real bonus is the price compared to a genuine Canon grip, and the build quality, seems to be very well made and robust. Highly recommended.

Looks the part and does the job!Less complicated than the previous "replacement" grip which had a timer - which I never really understood - and it is somewhat cheaper than an original Canon grip.Unfortunately the remote control did not work (replacement on its way I am told) so cannot comment on whether it is good or not.

Good piece of kit, build quality is not as good as the last Hahnel grip i owned but still better quality than cheaper models, Grip does everything it is supposed to do effortlessly, great if you can not afford the astronomical cost of a real Canon grip

Very good indeed,it work extremely well. Very pleased with quality and use ability of the unit.
