Ok for £70 I was not expecting much. I need the grip for just that, I have 'man hands' so more grip required, the fact that it holds an extra battery, the controls all work as they should ...is a real bonus.On close inspection the finish is very impressive, the rubber detailing a near perfect match to the D800 body.I have had original grips before from Nikon and I can say...why bother.Perfect service, excellent communication and very quick delivery from the vendor.Now all I want is a rubber skin for the D800 like the D7000 Camera Armor.

I have a Nikon version and pixel version.Both look and work exactly the same, the pixel costs less than a third of theNikon product.The tripod mount on the Nikon is a bit stiffer than the pixel. Only comment.I do usually buy genuine Nikon accessories, but see the grip as almost abuseof a customer !!Luckily we can vote with our wallts here.Tony Hills

A well made, well featured product. It’s very early days but so far so good especially considering I paid less than £40 delivered and brand new.It secures solidly to the camera and in turn to my tripod shoe, it functions well so far, I’m very happy with this product.

excellent product, great feel and look, everything works fine with good solid connections to the camera body. Battery sleigh is better than I had imagined and I look forward to giving it a lot of use.

Saved a lot of money buying this non Nikon grip and it is worth it. I am a heavy user of gear and this is robust enough to last. Also makes the camera balance better.

Very neat interface part, does not look like Chinese-made knockoff. The quality is very good, almost worse than the original.
