I bought several plastic and metal varieties in stores to replace a butterfly model I had for years until the cutter wore out. I could not find another butterfly model in stores and then I saw this one advertised. It was delivered 5 days after placing the order. Itindents the lid and cuts cleanly so I can again be sure I will not face opening cans with the possibility of an injury due to jagged lid edges I am going to have another in case production of this excellent model ceases due to its longevity.

Basic! But it works!! I bought this for my husband, as he goes through can openers like their going out of fashion! Doesn't like the 3 we have in the house, so I splurged out and bought this!!! You'd think I bought him the best thing in the world!! Started skipping after one use, but what do you expect for a cheap item!

Great can opener that does what it's supposed to do. Has a bottle opener on one end. Good value for money.
