Very nice twin pack at a crazy cheap price. I needed the convex plane rather than the concave one and the only others out there are very costly indeed. So I got this twin pack.For rough and semi fine shaping of solid guitar bodies the convex plane is excellent it feels good in the hand and the blade holds an edge for a suitably long time taking into account wood types. I've also been using the concave shave for some neck work and for rough shaping the external body curves - I also use a strait shave for that and now prefer the concave one. Hand tools let me work longer in to the evening than my power tools which annoy the neighbours and are restricted to working hours use.I have no complaints with these at all,

For the money their very good. Blades were a bit rough, looks like they came straight from grinding. The blades did not match the body profile exactly. But once I had reshaped and sharpened them both they were cutting beautifully. I am an apprentice trained joiner so this was no problem for me. To adjust the blades loosen the screw and gently tap the back edge to tweak left or right then tighten up the screw. Blade adjustments on spokeshaves with twin thumb wheels is far easier, but the price higher. But as I said at the beginning for the money they are very good.

At the price these are a good buy, but don't expect them to cut well straight away.The blades needed a little time spent on them, but when polished and honed these shaves worked well.Their only having one adjustment screw makes them a little fiddly to set up (compared to more expensive alternatives), but they work fine.

Arrived promptly. A nice pair of spokeshaves for the money. Needed a little sharpening but then I am a bit fussy. I am impressed with the quality for the price though. I would buy Faithful tools again, but not thses spokeshaves as I expect them to last a lifetime.

Although the service and delivery was exhalant, the spoke shaves order was not correct. I should have had one flat and one concave instead I received one convex and one concave. I am a little upset at that, but the service was exhalant. I now need a flat

i ampleased with these items they do whatis expected of them,and i would say that although i havnt used them to any great lengths as yet i dont see any reason not to recomend these items to family and friends.

They do what they are made for without the need to go and spend a fortune on the top brands. Good value for money, not many other company's selling them, especially at these prices.

I ordered these for my granddad so he could use them for his woodwork projects and he is very pleased with them. Arrived within the estimated delivery date. All in all 4/5.

Haven't used them an awful lot but for what I needed them for they were ok. For more serious work there are better ones out there but then they can get very expensive.

Takes a little bit of fettling, and has the old fashioned way of setting the blade which makes it a little harder - but to be expected at the very reasonable price.

Took out the chip breakers which were causing shavings to jam up .. replaced them with a washer and all is well.

3 1/2 plus to 4. Happy overall, you need to work on them out of the box(about an hour) good price, do the job

Nice tools well made, quite solid and blades delivered sharp. For the money they are excellent.
