item arrived in a few days and was in very good condition. i bought this as i already have some radio linked aico alarms but they are on ceilings which are about 12 foot high. too high for checking and muting. after reading the slightly confusing instructions i was able to homelink all three sensors which are in different parts of my house. now if we want to test, cancel or find out which alarm keeps triggering all we need to do is push one of the three switches. the unit has an inbuilt battery and should last until 2028. you are advised to replace the system during 2028 or when the system says the battery is dead. luckily aico keep all their alarms sensor bases compatible so its just a case of unplugging one unit for a new one.
