My installation of 5 alarms was only wired as I wanted to add other alarms (CO) and the Ei450 remote control I replaced one wired base unit with this one. The full system works perfectly well with 5 wired alarms and 2 radiolink elements (remote + CO alarm).Recommend these products as they add a real safety to your house
