Unit itself is brilliant, well balanced . Front Light level is bright, great on dark places. Hand vibration level compare to power producing is very low. Has quick blade release mechanism also has hand safety lock button.Came bare unit with tsaki carry case and manual. No charger , no blade , no batteries, so all bits on my pictures are bought separately only taken to show that fast charger will not fit to case. Also if you have 9mah flexi Walt battery it will not fit, will fit in case with standard upto 5mah battery.Blades to unit can be inserted horizontal and vertical, also both ways, so all 4 sides.Works well with flexiWalt batteries as well.Overall well balanced and powerful unit.

Well balanced when using it. I have used the tool for cutting scafolding tubes, with the right blade. I have also used it to cut tree branches up to about 7 inches, with the right blade, with a 5 amp battery. The case that comes with you can fit 4 x 5 amp batteries or tho batteries and one basic charger. Sadly you cant fit the Dewalt fast charger unless you start cutting the internal plastic mold. So I keep my fast charger in a seperate box. Maybe something Dewalt should think about as a basic charger would take twice as long to charge and if you are a trade person you would wanted a 5 Amp charged in the hour. Still its a great kit hence the 5 stars

I bought this with a pack of different blades - metal and wood - and now I would not be without it. It's perhaps a little too aggressive for jigsaw work, although i have called it into action for such, but for almost every other time I need to chop something off, this is the tool.

Feels heavy in your hand especially with a 6Ah flexvolt battery attached but your'e not holding it up for long as it soon cut through 5" and thicker hawthorn trees within seconds. Blade attachment is easy, gone are the days of using allen keys to fasten blades.

I'm only a DIYer but sometimes only this kind of saw does the job. Using a 4mha battery it does not last very long but adequate. Feels a quality product and, of course, being XR is the main draw owing to battery compatibility.

It is very good and handy.I was a bit worried when used first time as the long blade started going side to side before use.. But when u place it on the area(wood, metal) it's very nice and steady.I would recommend it.

Love this sabre!! Great product, perfect for my needs.Being brushless it’s more compact. Convenient if you’re on stage at height carving a polystyrene rock face.Arrived before original delivery date, happy customer.

Love the fact that the blade can be turned 90 degrees to get in to awkward spaces . The short light body helps with that too. Surprisingly great power for an 18 V. Am very glad I bought thisJoiner Belfast

Great tool. Used to cut up steel water tanks for removal. Only criticism is that for hacksaw work speed control at low end cannot be set to a maximum. Very easy to overheat blades- buy good ones.

As always another well made Dewalt product, works well, a little on the heavy side for me but I am a small female! Definitely need a good pair of safety goggles to wear while using it.

Super tool, so versatile.Weather cutting fence posts,pruning trees or fitting kitchen cupboards. Gets to all those awkward places and saves time. I use it all the time, wonderful tool.

Really useful tool, but the hand vibration is much worse than I had imagined was allowable for a retail product. Great for a short, quick job, but not for a longer period of work.

Typical DeWalt quality, nicely balanced and does the job. Like the way you can set the blade at different cutting angles and the tool free blade attachment. Well recommended.

Best bit of kit I’ve purchased by far, it cuts through wood and steel with ease. It’s my go to bit of kit. The wife also loves it after buying an adapter off the internet

Its great, very strong for its size. Can handle heavy duty cutting all day but gets very hot. Its compact size and 4 way blade placement make it perfect for tight spaces
