Have yet to use to any extent, but the build quality looks very good typical of all the Bosch Professional Range.The batteries from my drills and other tools are interchangeable for the Prof Range, a real bonus when batts can cost almost as much as the tool.I have Bosch tools that are old enough to vote and are still going strong. A very happy user.UpdateI have used this tool all day and it is wonderful.. It requires both hands for operation but cut through the quite thick branches of self seed sycamores easily and quickly. Love the fact that I can work anywhere without cabling. You will need a couple of batts to swap if you are using for a longish period. It is well balanced and great to use.

An excellent, high quality tool. It's important to know that it's best suited to rough cutting and demolition, pruning and destructive work as opposed to very accurate cutting (for which there are better tools for the job)I've used it to recycle wood pallets into wooden planters. With a S1531L wood blade it shredded the pallet in under 2 mins. Then used it with a finer wood blade to trim the wood into pieces for a planter. Then assembled into wood planter with power drill and screws All done in about 20 mins

I'll join the other reviewers that mention not realising they'd find it so useful.Bought as very good price and a growing Bosch Pro addiction thinking 'might be handy'... Now using every day.Light, powerful, relatively kind on battery.(The Bosch blades seem worth the slight premium price. Found some manufacturers useless, but theirs are excellent, with a durability that makes them comparatively cheap.)

Outstanding piece of kit.Bought to fill the gap between a pruning hand saw and my chainsaw.Extremely well balanced can be used one handed as well as two.Definitely will surpass all other saws for garden pruning and general work.Very pleased and the Bosch Boxx system stores it away safely and securely.

Very comfy using one hand lasts long time on one battery demoed and in tire truss roof on one battery and with the blade supplied. I only buy Bosch blades as they last ages also it’s also handy to have you use it more than you think. LED lights is very handy when cutting in cupboards for pipework etc.

Like i would expect from Bosch, it does what it says on the tin and with ease, and after 12 months of hard usage,comes the usual Bosch reliability, great piece of kit...but the rrp is a little steep

Hesitated for a long while before getting thisBrilliant and manageable tool cuts like a knife through butter and being cordless makes it a dream to use

Excellent power with Lenox blades it cuts through wood (Old fence posts) with easeWith 18v 5amp battery it lasted 4:33 before recharging was required

Quality Bosch Pro tool. 3year warrantee, quite powerful and should last the course. Comes in an L box and works with my 18v batteries.

Awesome bit of kit, makes light work of timber, including nails. Sturdy and well made tool, really good quality.

seems to be okay , cut through metal like butterhaven't done wood yet but cant see a problem
