Excellent piece of kit. Lasts reasonable amount of time on 4Ah Li-ion. Lefty so like the idea that the head swivels to move the switch to the right. I've used these tools for years but still had trouble with the guard. Fits on a 'spline' and my view of splines is that they are to stop things turning. You have to slacken the clamp right off and it's still tight! Would have preferred some sort of tool-less lever clamp but perhaps this isn't practical because of the casting. NB Bosch, Tool-less adjustment to safety features tends to improve safety.When you turn the disc by hand, there is a clicking noise that sounds a little ominous but apparently this is as it should be.

Used this angle grinder for cutting cement tiles for roofing. Works brilliantly with a Bosch diamond disk ‘Bosch 2608602196 Standard for Concrete Diamond Cutting disc, Silver/Grey, 115 mm’. Cut through my verge tiles like a knife through butter, creating ⅘ and ½ tiles easily, cutting off nibs easy peasy. Used a garden hose behind me to take down the dust, wet bum though ;-pVery easy to control and I use a black marker first for my line, then small cuts along it with the tool, then deeper and longer cuts until the cement tile is cut clean through. Use 4A 18V batteries, they last about ½ hour before dejuicing. Thirsty tool, probably best with 5A batteries for longer work, being cordless is ace.

The guard was a little difficult to rotate, until it was clear how it was supposed to fit - better instructions could have helped. The locking button is rather difficult to hold in when changing the disc.The machine was able to cut through steel piping easily (using only a budget cutting disc).The battery that I used was from my electric drill. It has already proved useful away from the workshop and I'm sure it will cut down on carrying heavier gear to more remote sites.

It is a pity that Bosch do not appear to offer the complete package inclusive of charger and battery, It is confusing when you read that one battery serves several products in the range and I, having bought another item previous, assumed erroneously that the lithium battery it had would operate with my latest purchase, That however was not the case and so I had to purchase another charger and battery. Bosch would need to make this clearer on it's website and manuals.

I am using this cordless grinder for cutting rusted bolts and fittings from a boat trailer, works a treat with a 5 Ah battery that I had for other Bosch tools. Cuts well and is more controllable than my corded grinder.Only criticism would be that the body is slightly larger than my corded Bosch Professional grinder so it is not as easy to hold one handed.overall a great tool and a brilliant buy at under £80 on Prime Day.

Outstanding bit of kit. I can imagine it would last most of the day if one is using sporadically. Sanding some iron railings back it was dead in around 1hr of continuous use. That said it does recharge quickly and if you already have the 36v charger for the Bosch lawn mower that battery fits so no need to buy the ‘professional’ one. Also cut through some iron fence posts like butter.

I have used a large range of Bosch cordless products for 5+ years now in a professional capacity, they have proved very worthy, the grinder needs at least 3ah batteries though so don’t bother with anything lower rated!! All in all a great bit of kit.

I always thought cordless angle grinder would not be upto the job, but I can honestly say that i would not be without mine now, you will need a second battery because they do use a lot of power. But I can't manage without mine, I use it every day.

Great grinder, considering it only runs on 18v. Plenty of power for cutting steel and grinding. It is a little on the expensive side, setting me back €200 for body and the l-boxx case. But well worth it. A great addition to my toolbox.

Excellent and super powerful, very destructive, used it to chop notches in patio slabs and rip out electrical installations on site, very handy, comfortable, just buy this and get a couple of 4.0ah battery's and your set for the day.

Fantastic piece of kit, no more extension cords and transformers, love the Bosch range works great with the 3amp battery but I recommend the 6amp for all day use, delivery on time as always, top marks for amazon sellers

Such a good piece of kit. This was bought as a replacement for my previous one which I literally wore out after about 5 years. Very well made as usual by bosch. 3 year warranty. Great value for money.

The only thing that stopd it getting 5 stars is one of tbe contacts on the motor melted. I repaired it myself as it was out of warranty. The ergonomics and power of the tool are all spot on.

Price was £82.50Bargain at the time ?It soon shot up in priceBought as a replacement ad my other was playing up but had brushes replaced in my old 1 so now got two happy ?

No lead to hold you back, powerful and light. Would have liked a pro box with it, but not a real drama, it happily doubles up with another tools in their boxes.
