I have a collection of Ryobi one+ tools both at home and at work and find the price to quality ratio very high. The reciprocating saw is the latest Ryobi in my collection and although I've only had chance to use it the once, I can say it is going to be a real timesaver both at home and work.It feels robust and the quality of the finish is on par with the other power tools in the range. It had no problem cutting up lengths of 3" X 2" hardwood posts for my fence project, and I can tell it will be the same story when I'm back in work with metal.All in all, I'm very impressed.

A cracking, useful addition to my tool kit. I bought it to help with dismantling a damaged fence and it performed well. I had read a review which stated that the Ryobi blades were not equal to the performance output of the saw and I have to agree. At first use I broke the supplied metal-cutting blade but everything else has been done with the same Bosch universal blade which performed well. Not a saw for a fancy finish but once you become familiar with handling it you will find it money well spent both in the workshop and for heavy pruning in the garden.

As long as you have ryobi battery's and charger then I would Definitely recommend this product. I bought a corded one and I found that this performs as good if not better what I found that a cordless one doesn't vibrate as much as the corded one so easier to cut in a straight line and if like me suffer VWF then you should consider buying one

Brilliant tool.Handy when you need a power saw that is not cabled.Comes with two blades one for wood and one for metal.You will however have to purchase a battery.This saw requires the use of both hands and you shoulddefinitely read the safety instructions.Comes with a variable speed control and brakeHighly recommended.

Great accessory to have in the cabinet. 'Don't know how I got by without one all these years. It gets in those awkward places a saw can't with ease. I use a "Badaptor" which allows me to run it on 18v DeWalt XR batteries, which saves the buying/storing of different batteries and charger. ???

This thing is amazing. I can't compare it to any other reciprocating saws as this is my first but it cuts wood faster than I can by hand and I wasn't expecting that, and of course it's a million times easier. I thoroughly recommend this saw

Ryobi is obviously a trusted make but as the saw comes without a battery the product is only as good as the battery powering it. Have used a couple of after market batteries with 4ah rating and the saws a cracker.

Much improved from the early blue coloured one + ( even though my original lasted 10years of every day use) new one much more ergonomic and sits well on the battery pack . Great recip saw for on/ off-site working.

Ryobi is always been good value for money and progressive tools in the right hands. Also don't attract people who want to take of site. 15 years now I've bought the same thing loads to pick from..

Good wee saw. Bit lightweight for for what I wanted it for but fine. Probably as good as you get for battery power. Give it time and it works well. Dont over load the battery by pushing it.

Cuts well, and easy to use even with one hand while holding the work piece. Damps vibration well and easy to control. Good battery life and easy to change blades. Would highly recommend.

It does what i wanted it to do. Can take it over the fields & cut up firewood for my stove. Not to heavy. but only suitable for small/medium size branches etc.
