Starting to use the machine now and still in the early stages but I must say it's a great piece of equipment that is solid and well built. Easy to use and feels a quality machine, so far very pleased with all the functions but yet to use all of them. So far I have to say well worth the price and has replaced my old machine that was well used but had limited user friendly and possebillities, this machine is fully equipped to do any job requiring any all aspects of joinery when it comes to wood sawing work.

I have owned many chop saws over the years, but thought I would get what I believed was best on the market.. I wasn't wrong... what a great bit of kit. It's big but that's what I love about it, it will cut very large timbers with ease. It's very easy to use, straight out of the box... no construction required. It cuts through timber like a hot knife through butter. I know it's expensive but with most things, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product even if you're only a DIY enthusiast...

I bought this saw to replace a DW743 that was stolen. I figured that the sliding mitre action would be more valuable than the flip action on 743. I was right (I now just use a skill saw to rip long sheets).This saw cuts beautifully and feels lovely to use (as do most DeWalt tools) shot through with quality with great component finish. When used with the optional expandable stand it's super versatile and utterly stable as well. Cutting 5m lengths single handed is a 'piece of cake'.

Bought to replace my 18 year old DeW saw, which is still going. But this double bevelled slide has made things even easier. Yeah it’s not cheap but quality never is. My last one is fine after nearly two decades ! No brainer !

Just brilliant! It does seem to be expensive but it's worh it if you need precision while cutting chunky timber, making tables, windows etc.It was my dream, finally got it and is better than I imagined.

The saw has the feel of quality which is what you want when you're buying something of that value. So far the accuracy hasn't let me down, so all in all a good buy.

It's fantastic but not for the beginner, Loads of power, accurate mitres and angles,It's a little heavy to carry about and needs plenty of room to work on

My last Dewalt Mitre saw lasted 23 years which was well used as I am a general builder.What more can I say.
