A solid and sturdy bit of kit for domestic DIY, easy to use if not slightly unnerving for a first time user. Far superior than a jigsaw for straight cuts. Did not get to try the full range of blades but if they are as good as the one supplied then no complaints, cut through kitchen worktop with ease and clean lines despite scoring it first. Had some issues lining up the plastic guard. but all in all ideal for those heavier DIY projects around the home.

Even though i have not used this on a project yet (waiting for the wife to give me one), have used just to try out on a few bits of odd timber. All i can say is such a great little saw and with the laser guide so much easier for the straight cut. The saw is nice and light to use, can angle/bevel cut upto 45derees, and a comfy top grab grip. With the 1250w motor this is ideal for all the home/garden projects cant wait to get going with my next project.

This Circular saw is really quite powerful. When you open the box all you have to do is fit the blade and away you go.The saw has a long Mains lead and Is quite Light to hold.The angle setter is a handy feature and the depth guide is really great for cutting slots in skirting boards for cable channels.I have used these saws in the past and I recommend this saw for lightand heavy Diy Jobs. You Really cant go wrong with this saw,

This is a great addition to any diy'ers toolset. On receiving the saw you have to attach the blade which is a simple lock nut in the middle. Handy laser guide helps with cuts as required but also a gauging tool is included for cutting narrow strips. It's not a quiet tool but not any louder than competitors versions. Balance weight of the tool makes it easy to cut wood up to 60mm depth. Produces good clean cuts with minimal splintering.

I was pleasantly surprised with this circular saw when I used it for a few projects I was working on. It has a good power output and the cleanliness of the cuts was great with very little splintering. I have used a couple of theses type of saws from both ends of the price bracket and I have to say I can’t fault this one. If you want a good quality saw that gets the job done then this is the one for you.

This saw is very powerful and cuts wood easily. Cuts up to 66mm with height adjustment for smaller cuts. It also cuts angles 0-45 degrees. The laser pointer helps getting those cuts straight and is an excellent feature. Only negative is the dust extraction fitting which does not seem to fit correctly and interferes with the blade guard. I don't use this but some people will and may find it a problem.

Very good saw. Very powerful. I put some shelves up recently but had to cut the planks. This saw made it so easy and simple to cut the planks. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I had a normal saw for more years than I can remember. But thank goodness for power tools and power saws. You can’t go wrong with black and decker. Quality hard wearing product. Laser light very handy aswell.

Bought this saw to use for my decking project in the green it was brilliant Cut through decking like hot knife to butter very accurate thanks to the laser line making sure a straight cut every time also good blade depth adjustment have used this saw for 7 days working it very hard and didn’t give any problems good firm handles makes holding this saw safe and feels robust would recommend

Hi, due to the returns policy during lockdown , I have had to buy two of these which both had the same fault. The laser beam packed up working after 40 minutes for the first one and about a minute with the second one. I was trying to cut five millimetres off the bottom of a door and did not touch the laser adjustment screw.

The Black and Decker circular saw is a great product. The laser feature is a handy addition to help support keeping on the lines especially when doing more intricate cutting. It’s not too heavy that it feels like you are having a work out everytime you use it. Great little product, certainly worth a purchase.

bought this for my husband about 6 months ago, and fortunately took out Argos extra warranty seeing as my husband cut straight through the electric wire.on the circular saw no fuss just a straight forward swap from Argos and another warranty taken out ready for further mishaps !

This saw is well worth buying if you do a lot o DIY like me. It has a laser to help cut straight but also a parallel guide which works just as well. It also cuts up to 45 degrees for bevel edges. Good design and easy to use with a good speed motor and depth cutting of up to 66mm.

A decent saw that is powerfull enough for DIY use having easily coped with triming doors and fence panels. The laser guide is a waste of time though and you do have to consider the location where the saw is used because of the saw dust generated. Easy to set up use and store

Is good tool but when I bought it have scratches on side clearly someone was doing something with it. But I keep it because was no more in my area. Need second cut dish with more T . But it should be ok in use.

The circular saw was great value for the money. It is very easy to use even for the novice. The laser guide is very useful. I have always brought and used Black and Decker and the saw lives up to the name.
